Yes I was thinking the same. I think him and Bats will compliment each other well. I honestly cant wait to see Morata in a Chelsea shirt.

His flight just left LAX he is due to arrive in London at 10.15am there is a possibility Bakayoko will fly with him to China/Singapore

Easy to laugh in hindsight mind you, I've been critical of marina but credit where due brilliant window so far, I expect Danilo as part of this to follow, and a little wink and a tap on the nose when hey come for hazard in a year or two.

That states one thing, then immediately contradicts the headline, sensationalism at its worst....

I am completely taken aback by this transfer happening as it signifies a monumental smashing of the Torres transfer record set six years ago.  

It is excellent that the club has an impending striker who is technicall skilful.  I watched his time at Juventus and if he can replicate that form, we will do well in the new season.

I wanted Belotti, but I will gladly settle for Morata.

Didn't see this on twitter, came on here to see that this thread had been moved to General and was in disbelief. Very pleased, have wanted Morata for over a year now.

 

Now, Sanchez would be icing on the cake. Hazard - Morata - Sanchez is a dream.

Didn't see this one coming 24 hours ago, so if we do wrap the deal up, I'd say the people doing the deal knew what they were doing.

I have been avoiding this forum until.....MORATA was in Chelsea Blue!! Buzzing all day. Preferred him over Lukaku all the way this summer. Very pleased. Add one more (Sando?) and let's see what we can do in PL and CL this year lads!!

Throughout this whole striker saga, I have at various points wanted Lukaku, Aubameyang, Morata and Belotti.

 

I am indecisive....frankly I'm just relieved I don't have to do the work hahaha.

So after the dust settled we got Contes number 1 striker in basically an exchange for Oscar, his number one CM target and one of his top CBs we would have signed last year if not for his injury. Now City on the other hand 150 mill+ for two right backs a brazilian goalkeeper and another small CAM they dont need. Tottenham has done f**k all and Arsenal are about to sell Sanchez. Id say we are looking pretty good

All done by that terrible board of ours who are idiots if you were to believe certain"fans". Fans who go strangely quiet whenever we make a good signing. It's very weird.

Don't think it's possible to make a call on how morata or lukaku will do next season. This will be lukakus first time playing up agasint packed defenses. It's easy to talk a bit game about running through brick walls, but when you have never done it... is it effectively in your makeup.

 

wanted Morata last season, think he's got so much about him, quicker then people think and probably better in the air then lukaku but equally it's a new league and there is never any garantees
