He'd never sacrifice it for anything I think the breeze catching it is the only thing that keeps him upright. I’m sure he’s a nice bloke and everything but it looks like the club need to employ someone to give him a cuddle and tell him it’s all going to be ok every time there’s a break in play.
October 26, 20187 yr Jimmy Floyd breaking down Morata's defects as a #9 I won't lie, I would love to have in form JFH playing w/ this team - he would bag 35 goals easy
October 26, 20187 yr I'd love to see Jimmy Floyd in a pressing side, he'd be stood in the centre circle with his hands on his hips, looking bemusedly at all the other players running around - 'in pursuit of what?' he wonders.
October 28, 20187 yr Lovely goal and he'd have had 2 if Hart hadn't been on top form. Happy with him today (and still no idea why he got booked).
October 28, 20187 yr Thought he played really well today. Should have scored a second right after his first, went for the near post after cutting inside where I think if he goes across the keeper he scores. But much, much better overall.
October 28, 20187 yr I felt he started the game very well, made the right runs and lovely goal as well. But come second half you can see that he was getting bad to his bad habits. While i am happy for his changing fortunes I am still of the opinion that we need a striker.
October 28, 20187 yr His movement was sensational today. First goal was impressive. Should have buried the second chance. Hart made a fantastic stop on the third one, he was unlucky there. He brought others into play and had an all round good game. Best game of the season for him.
October 28, 20187 yr It's just amazing how Sarri puts his trust on him. I want to believe it will worth it in the end. Finally a good performance by Morata, now he has to continue in that way.
October 28, 20187 yr Quite amazing that he only scored 1 goal this game because he had a sh*t ton of chances! But his overall play was still very good and I hope he can keep this up. Sarri has worked wonders, truly hope he stays for a long time
October 29, 20187 yr I was surprised that he stated, though he fared much better today, in terms of holding up play rather than just being a peripheral presence. However, I have to note that Burnley made the mistake of giving him space to run in behind for his first goal. Edited October 29, 20187 yr by DaRick

Finally a good performance by Morata, now he has to continue in that way. He doesn't really have much choice. It's him or Giroud, and Giroud just doesn't have it in him to score goals or start games on a regular basis anymore, so he has to stick with Morata. Morata put in a good performance, but I feel in the long run, he will still be frustrating and we will still need to bring somebody else in. I would love him to prove me wrong though and go on and score 20+ more goals this season.
October 29, 20187 yr Very good performance, and an excellent finish for his goal, he shifted his feet really quickly. He should have the sh*ts more often!
October 29, 20187 yr Right now 1 out of 3-4(Morata) is better than 0 out of 0 or out of 1(Giroud). Sad, but true.

Should have scored the second when he cut in on the left side of goal and went for the near post. But other than that you had the header when he diverted Barkley's shot which Hart did well to save which was good instincts from Morata in the first place. The one where Jorginho played him in with a lobbed ball over the top, Morata did well to bring it down quickly and get the shot away and again was denied by a good save by Hart and then the header in the second half which he put wide but didn't have a great angle to get it on target in the first place. I've been just as critical as anyone of Morata but couldn't really find too much to fault him with after that performance. His hold up and link play was much better too. Played a lovely through ball into Willian when he hit the post. Seemed to have a bit more confidence in himself against Burnley and his scoring has picked up a bit now. 3 goals in 9 appearance, a goal every 3 games isn't terrible and three of those appearance were from the bench. He's still a long way short of being the striker we need but the Burnley performance was a welcome change from the dross he's served up before.
October 29, 20187 yr Could we just sum up this topic as follows:If Morata doesn't score then get rid of him in December. If Morata does score then possibly keep him until the summer.
October 29, 20187 yr In summary: When Morata not scoring , he's the worst striker in Chelsea history. When Mortata is scoring, he deserves another chance.
October 29, 20187 yr In summary: When Morata has diarrhoea - pretty f**king good; When Morata doesn't have diarrhoea - terrible.
October 29, 20187 yr In summary: When Morata is wearing gloves: living to play another day. When Morata isn't wearing gloves: get rid tarred and feathered. Edited October 29, 20187 yr by Valerie
October 29, 20187 yr In Summary:- When the moon hits your eyes like a big pizza pie, thats Morata. Whats Morata you hey, gotta no respect, whata you think you do........
October 29, 20187 yr Ahhhhhh... When the ball hits the back of the Old Trafford net, that'ssss Vialli... Good times.
