I think we were the last team to see the best of Costa, he has become greedy in the worst way and he will end up getting paid very well somewhere and then only later realise he has missed the top competition from the best leagues and will not be sharp enough for the National sides.

Agreed, I would think Euro 2020 would be his last major competition.  Hard to believe he’s already 30, been 4.5 years since he joined us in 2014.

Knew he'd miss that 1-on-1. If the finish is instinctive and he barely has time to think, he scores, if he has time, 9 times out of 10 he f**ks it up.

He can miss all the one on ones he wants, if he scores every/other game.

I Told the Mrs at the start of the game, Morata with a hat trick, hard and low was and its a given.........maybe

That's true! But he is scoring consistently now and hopefully his confidence will grow and grow with this better form and the goals.

His movement at times is really really good, one of my criticisms with Costa was his movement, not so much on set pieces but getting into the box as an Ariel threat and in behind defenders when necessary. I thought Morata did all the right things for the first two goals and the first chance was only easy because he made it so, the second chance was a superb touch and finish, in the moment all his striking instincts come to life, but when he has time to dwell on things we see what happens. 

So happy for him. 6 goals for the season now. He has faced so much criticism from pundits and our own fans so to come back as strongly as he done, full credit to him.  His second was an absolutely top finish as well.

Was his second scored with his left foot? If so, that was solely for @coco

Not gonna lie, am actually gutted he didn't get the hattrick. Which is a weird feeling, because it's a nice problem to have.

Had a massive upswing in form over his last five games. 

He’s movement is looking good (creeps offside a little too much for liking), he’s getting into a lot of scoring positions and he’s looking quite instinctive with his finishing. 

Let’s hope it continues!

He plays well well he stays on his feet.
