  1. 1. Here are the current favorites with Conte included. Jody Morris is in there as he is the current youth team manager, and promoting from within seems to have worked for Barca, so why not us?!

I think sarri is coming in. I don't want to get my hopes up, but I would be very happy with that, especially if we can persuade jorginho to follow him.

Conte may well be out of work next season.

Italy job gone

PSG job gone

Napoli job looking like ancelotti

Juventus looking like keeping allegri

Arsenal could be an option, but they seem to be linked more heavily with arteta and Enrique.

Said this months ago; it will difficult for a top team to touch him after his rants earlier in the year, couple that with the brand of football his teams plays. With Jose you kind of like put up with him because he “is” a winner, but I also think if he doesn’t win something next season or leaves in an acrimonious manner it will difficult to get a top job again. The irony is there are quite a few top jobs this summer.

Not just will Roman allow the new coach the time but us fans too.. I think history will repeat itself with the new coach too.

If the new manager takes the piss out the of the club and players at every oppurtunity, then yes, history will repeat itself.

I don't want that tub of lard Poch (check out his paunch and double-chin, he has really packed on the pounds this season) as our manager.

But I would love to see it happen so I could see the reaction from my Spurs flat-mate. I actually think he would top himself- he worships him.

The Fat Argentinian Waiter for more living space for Blueblur...

Vote here: totally worth it or hell no

Played a good style of football, but again he hasn't won anything. Argentinian Sarri, his football looks pretty and his teams might have overachieved but no results on the board.

Might as well hire Quique Setian who has done the same thing with Betis this year.

Quite surprised people would be against Poch, it's unlikely to happen but he would be a fantastic appointment

Keep hearing this narrative directed at the likes of Sarri and Poch in terms of their lack of "success". and "trophies" which is fair enough but right now we need to move away from this mentality of winning everything and anything and appointing managers that have this win at all costs mentality. Also, both Sarri and Poch haven't had big budgets to work from and had to make use of what they already had available to them and they've both done fantastic jobs and built extremely good sides

I understand that winning is one of the most important things in football but we need to take a back seat and start building a side, like I've said many times before we simply don't have the financial clout anymore to buy our way to the top and compete financially with the very best. What we do have is one of the best academies in the world and we need to start using it

I don't think you can compare Setian to pochettino and sarri.

Setian has had 3 seasons in top flight football in nearly 20 years of management. He's never managed a club the size of napoli or Tottenham, he has never been in the champions league, and the highest position was this season's 6th place.

I like pochettino, he did well at Southampton and he has done well at spurs, especially when you consider financial restraints he has at spurs, compared to the rest of the top 6. He's also given a lot of of young players a chance, which is good for the national side.

I don't believe for 1 second he is even an option to come here though. It is most likely a leak from his agent to try and force levys hand a little, in contract negotiations, and in the transfer market.

If Poch quit Spurs for us, I'd take him. He's developed good players and plays a good style of football, if he's transfer demand is only 100M, that's easy. As far as i remember, he hasn't said anything crossed the line about Chelsea, hell we took Rafa after he called us 'plastics'

I just hope we have a plan.

The window opens in two days and closes early this year on august 9th.
We don’t have a DOF anymore and our manager is very likely to be gone in less than a week.
The world cup starts in less than a month and traditionally it’s impossible to do business involving World-cup players during that time since they want to focus on the WC.

Basically, we need to get our new manager in asap.

Whoever it is they have to be given some realistic goals. The next manager shouldn’t be burdened with having to win trophies or Top 4 if he has to integrate youth. It’s not fair. Sort this with the right man from the outset and we shouldn’t have problems like we’ve have with Conte and previous managers.

One key difference between us and Spurs, we have a winning mentality running through the club from top to bottom.  If Poch builds a similar team with us, absolutely no way are we going 4 years without winning anything.
