As I mentioned, its better a win/win because this enhances Kepa's resale value. I am not going to pretend he isn't one of the worst shot stoppers I've ever seen at this club.

Financially he costs us about 10m a year on our books. If we sell him for 20m next year it just zeroes out the future costs. Anything less and it adds a cost onto our books. Anything more becomes a profit onto that year.

Next summer is the first summer where could actually realistically afford to sell him. Writing off a 10-20m cost onto a book in one season is a ffp risk. 

That goes the same for lukaku where we probably need to keep him on the books until 2024 at least unless we get a big (40m+ fee).

Some cracking saves today....posting in the 82nd minute. Here's hoping he doesn't f**k it up in the remaining 8!

Would like to hear Kepa's thoughts after that, it's a shame he'll presumably be busy with a mandatory drug test.

I’ve heavily criticised him in the past, but he’s turned it around.

Outstanding today and building a nice run of clean sheets.

Will forever be sh*t from crosses, but he can pull off a few top saves at times. He saved us today and is going through a much needed purple patch for us and for himself.

That 3 points was solely down to him. Incredible.

Another clean sheet. Only Lampard didn't know how to defend but Kepa is showing that he's a decent keeper.

To be fair he has improved tremendously on crosses too. Not sure which game it was but caught a few plus he comes out more often too now. He has the best form for a gk in the Premier league atm in my opinion.

Don’t think it’s a purple patch, Potter’s faith in him is paying off. If a goalie feels a manager doesn’t trust him or will bench him at any little mistake he will be pants.

Really happy he's taken his chance to re-establish himself as our number one, Mendy is badly out of form and if Kepa keeps this up Mendy will struggle to get back in 

 

The triple save was good, although you could argue that he knocked the first save back into the danger zone. The save from Ings was world class.
