He had some good moments but also a couple of stupid ones. Gave the ball away very cheaply in a very dangerous area, we were lucky to get away with that.

Agreed, he does some really good things, but is equally as frustrating, you can tell he is a work in progress, but the talent is there and he hasn’t hit his peak.

..................a little bit of smugness.......................... Any way, I didn’t come here for a dick swinging competition, .......................some more whingey, whiney nonsense

No, you came here all passive-aggressive to post a video of your lucky little muppets winning up the Bridge last season ans to gloat about it.

This season, up they come, wasting time from the start, diving about all over the place and whining and moaning all the time abd got what they deserved.

Off you trot till next time.

I love how on Talksport the pundits summarise our game by concluding Bournemouth deserved a point yet Liverpool deserved their win due to the first half performance. Mindboggling logic!

Giroud coming against Arsenal, minute 80th, the score is 2-2 - the team scores, taking the win 3-2.

vs Newcatle - 25 minutes left, the result is 0-0, the team scores twice, taking the win 2-1

vs Bournemouth, 30 minutes left, the result is 0-0, the team scores twice, taking 2-0 win, including one assist for him.

What was the word...???? facts.

Bench Morata for crying out loud!

Starting a game is different that coming off from bench. However we should start with Giroud next game.

Decent perfomance, still a few problems with mistakes at the back, but again we controlled the play brilliantly.

Once we didn't manage to score in that 1st 20 mins when there was a lot of space in behind, it became difficult, and struggled to create.

All 3 subs did great when they came on, and it's been a perfect start going into the break.

my god I hate international breaks!

By the way, we are already eight points better off from corresponding fixtures last season...

maybe people picked this up from the match commentary but 6th time we've won our first 4 games. In the other 5 seasons we did this, we won the title 4 times and finished 2nd the other time.

high expectations!

You have a point there but you also need to remember that Morata gave us a 2-0 lead against Arsenal as well. No need to continuously slag off our own player just because we have someone better on the bench instead, you should celebrate the fact that we have someone reliable to come on when Morata performs poorly like today.

That being said, Giroud should start the next game, he deserves it on merit.

Didums...    Man u forum.     " Chelsea are so ordinary it's actually scary how far behind we are. "

Great to get the win today. 4 wins out of 4 is a great start! But I still think we are a work in progress. It will be interesting to see after the international break how we cope with more than 1 game a week.

Agree with that and also when we face the real possession giants like City and Liverpool.

Credit to Sarri for 4/4 and also for making positive subs.

3 points, Clean sheet, 4 wins from 4 can't ask for anything more going into the dreaded international break. UTC.::ChELSeAFaN::

yeah the international break has come really at the wrong time, especially since the World Cup just ended - I guess the Federations need ways to make money

Bakayoko scored in the 3-1 against Huddersfield, doesn't stop him being sh*t every other game. We need to stop creating excuses for Morata because he did a good thing once. Get rid in January and try again with someone else.

How the f**k could anyone think Bournemouth deserved a point? I sometimes wonder if I've seen the same game as some people! Yes we weren't great in front of goal (I do miss Diego ) and yes they could have scored but you could say that about any game. We hit the post and had a couple of good shots too. If you count theirs as "we should be losing" surely you have to count ours as well. They really didn't look all that to me.

Morata is such a soft arse. Giroud, for all his limitations, is a lion next to him.

Too right! I really can’t understand how he’s continuing to be first choice. He’s hopeless. Given that his career to date been made as a super sub, surely that’s best how we employ him? Play Giroud and if we’re struggling, chuck Morata on for the last 15.

It’s clearly going to be a difficult and incredibly frustrating season based on how our opposition have been in the last two fixtures. Morata has made it very clear that he is not capable of having an impact in this environment. The French lad isn’t no Diego or Drogba, but he is more in their style of play and that’s what works  better against back nines.
