Milan are said to be confident that a deal will be wrapped up within the next 48 hours, with the 'final direct contact' between Chelsea and those in power at the San Siro expected to take place on Friday. The move will bring an end to Pulisic's four-year spell with the Blues, who he joined from Borussia Dortmund back in 2019 for a transfer fee in the region of £54m.

It’s happening!!!

The next 48 hours? Okay then it's definitely not happening.

Shame I had high hopes for him during the covid season when he was out best player but he never really kicked on. I think he'll do well in Italy though if he can stay fit.

Same, I thought he was a gem after his first season, even in the 2nd season he had good glimpses of form like against Madrid.

But after that it was just torrid really, constantly injured, sh*te attitude and when given the chance he was frail and just didn't care.

Got injured in that cup final and i have only ever seen fleeting glimpses of that guy ever since.

Similar situation happened to CHO, IMO

I guess that's the end of his Chelsea chapter.

I was hoping he'll become a key player for Chelsea, but it wasn't meant to be.

He had one great run of form, but other than that it's mostly average/poor performances along with long injuries. I hope he will do well in Italy and become the player all us Americans hope he can be.

I wish you guys and Chelsea the best, and that you will continue to challenge for top trophies in the years to come.

I was worried throughout 20/21 but i tried to convince myself it was the injuries and/or undercoaching by Lamps slowing him down. To be honest I wasn't that enamoured in his first season either outside of the restart period.

It was the super cup I finally snapped and gave up on him.

He was injured a bit but he was good whenever he played earlier in the season too, hattrick against Burnley, had a few other goals and assists to his name also. He was exceptional during the restart but I rated him pretty highly before then.

After that it wasn't really the same. The last two seasons especially have been a mess.

Glad to see the back of him probably more than any other player. Can remember a few good games but they were few and far between. To weak for the EPL but he might do ok elsewhere. Has stole a living here for 4 years.

Someone's happy with that

Agreed. With the exception of Kante it has been a very good clear out window so far. No issues with anyone we have sold and it's more than I expected us to clear out. Hoping we get Ziyech deal over the line.

I originally thought I would be wrong about Pulisic, but ultimately, all my worries about him before we signed him turned out to be true. I don't think things will be all that different for him at Milan.

I look at Puli; and struggle to see what he is good at:

Average passing

Average finisher

Average pace

Doesnt take players on when dribbling

Cant head

doesnt win physical battles

poor fitness

Am i missing something?? What were the standout traits that made people think he would be half decent?

Pulisic was arguably our star in lamp 1st season. He is very good at attacking far post and  final third stuff.

Could we just use him that way ? In TT system it is not possible.

But he is not as good as sterling at that (attacking far post and getting into final third)
