it was either a corner or a freekick to us - you could have argued their guy kicked Ampadu after he played the ball

Not saying Kovacic has been dire, he has been average so far, same as Barkley and a few others.

Kovacic played the ball through to Higuain for the chance that was deflected wide. I'm not saying Kovacic has been good, I don't think any of the performances from our players today have been that good.

Kovacic is about as much as an attacking threat as Jon Obi Mikel was.

Only less talented.

What a miss... chance goes begging....if the myth that is Sarri-ball is about continuous slick passing then our lot don't get it....hanging onto the ball far too long, running with the ball and taking far too many touches before making suicide passes; making this so easy for Wed at the moment..

We have zero creativity in this line up. Poor Higuian not offered a lot. 

.......and that sums up Kovacic good run and a pass to their fullback.

Why do we always stop when we approach the oppositions penalty area? Just keep going.

We are giving away possession so cheaply.  And CHO is again showing me that he's maybe not as great as some are making him out to be

No Hazard, Kante, Jorginho: the midfield is so stagnant. Really not a lot of movement.

Too many of our players are pleased with making a safe pass. Barkley and Ampadu in this game are the worst in that category.

Take CHO off. Offers absolutely nothing this game.

you've got to be a hardened supporter to watch this.....

Higuain might as well not be playing in this half, getting no service what so ever.

Not even getting some basic touches to get him involved.

No point having him if we’re not going to play to his strengths.
