I was gonna say that, we look much better with kovacic central. I like Ampadu but I don't think that's his position.

After watching Thursday night I can imagine Higuin is asking where is that guy Emerson with all those inviting crosses, I want some of those.

To be honest we have played dire, another performance with no zip or zest

we have a quite a number of fairly average midfielders don't we - apart from Kante who is best in the world at doing what he does, the rest are a bit meh......... we could do with a bit of creativity and spark in midfield, might help our forward play overall - at the minute our midfield is just too conservative  

Higuain must be thinking there is a strike as there is no service.

The work rate from Willian to win the ball back has been very good today, but I wish he wouldn't give it away so often in the first place.
