Better than the Arsenal spanking yes.

You're referring to the game where Mount played with Kovacic and Kante  in the middle and was rated by many of being the best of the 3 and the only real driving force going forward aside from Pusilic?

The game where Mount won us a penalty, and Jorginho failed to convert it?

Just checking we are referring to the same Arsenal game Mount played in.

I also think Mount hit the post with a FK this game in case we needed to narrow it down more.

Yes and the Leicester game, a team is more than one player there is no I in team just because he plays every game doesn't mean he should it could just be a different approach works.

He got the winner against Fulham but had it not been for the red card we didn't look like scoring and in that game outside of the goal again didn't really do anything.

He has been bang average like everyone else yet plays every single game.

Barry I wouldn't bother with Brutos. Lampard gone. Mount on the bench.Jorginho back in the line-up. And based on what we saw tonight, a big step back to 1001 meaningless passes in midfield with the re-introduction of Sarriball. A manager and a style of football which he greatly admired.

It's like all his Christmases have come at once.

Mount outplayed ziyech in 10 minutes cameo is what I learned from wolves game

Was coming on to say this. Ziyech was beyond abysmal. He looked to go backwards far too often and is passing is too often either under hit or vastly over hit.

It is crazy how underrated mount is. Outplayed ziyech as 10,outplayed kova n Jorginho as midfielder yet everyone is still questioning why he always start for lamp.

It’s because he’s Lampard’s golden boy!!!

Cause Lampard liked to play him every game and some on here thought getting rid of Frank would fix all our problems.

Although I don't think Lamp is ready to be a manager for title contending team, our problem isn't the manager.

New manager come in, we change the system. Mount is good, CHO is good. Havertz is ok, Ziyech was awful. Kovacic and Jorginho combination is a nightmare defensively and not good enough offensively. Pretty much same thing under Lamp.

Tuchel trusted in expierence and they let him down, ziyech and Giroud in particular.

Honestly not surprise, I am not blaming Tuchel,1st game, very quick turnaround. Our team is not exactly easy to manage due to lack of balance.

But I think people believe once Tuchel comes in Havertz will suddenly turn into Zidane, Pulisic become Hazard, Jorginho turn into pirlo will be very disappointed.

His biggest plus from Wolves is he saw CHO do a good job on other side as a wong back and make an great block to stop Wolves stealing it again.

2 days, I wont hold anything again him for what happened to Lamps. Is not his fault. The players on the other hand I expect better from.

But playing a multidimensional player like cho as wb is such a waste especially when you watched Ziyech doing nothing for 80 min.

This is one of the most annoying part of this season. Usually you want your "lesser" player to play more functional role to cover your star. We had willian, oscar did it for Hazard and Fabregas. You have wijnaldum doing it for mane and salah. Even pep in his 2nd season, asked sterling and sane to stay wide so silva and kdb can do their damage.

This season we have Mount who has been very2 good covering for Werner who has struggled big time and now we have CHO playing wb when Ziyech did nothing.

I must admit, I did want to see a game without him starting, but he made a difference when he came on, a lot more than Havertz did in that time.

I think we just have to accept the fact that we've got no players to protect the backline, not even Kante. We haven't actually replaced Matic since he left. So no matter what, we aren't going to get a solid defensive midfield, I say we just play with who's best on the ball for the time being.

That's one of the main reason's Frank was pushing for Declan Rice and apparently that caused a relationship breakdown between him and Marina.

The problem is not simply that we don't have a DM but we also lack a creative midfielder, somebody who can play high risk breaking the line passes, all our midfielders seem to be jack of all trades and masters of none. None of them can play that sitting DM role and neither can they get forward and provide double digit assists, it's surprising people turned on Frank so quickly considering how dysfunctional our midfield is.

It's a big question if Rice is that player that we need. He would also need to adapt to that role since someone pointed out that he also roams a lot similar to Kante...

If Tuchel survives this season and gets to have the summer transfer window he might just get rid of Jorginho and Kovacic just like Lampard supposedly planned but his transfer targets might be different.

The reason Tuchel played CHO and Pulisic in the wing back positions was because he knew Wolves would play deep and use a back 3. He know the spaces would be tight around the box so he put his most dangerous 1v1 players wider so they could beat the block from the outside and try to sneak some passes in behind the block.

Wolves were very tight and organized though. They defended the box the whole game with their lives. We needed a bit more from Callum or Pulisic out wide to win this game and although they played good all around games they never came up with that moment of magic.

I am not sure Declan Rice is all that good but I do agree. Our midfield is a complete mess and really makes me miss the old days when we had midfielders that excelled in certain roles instead of being decent at everything.

I also can't believe we let Gilmour go on loan he looks quality everytime he gets a chance. There is NO way Jorginho or Kovacic should be ahead of him in the pecking order as neither of them have shown any signs of good form all season.

Maybe you are right, I personally much rather have CHO not staying wide all the time or even better play him on the left.

I have headache watching Mount and CHO playing functional role while watching werner, ziyech, Havertz struggling in free role.

Different class again today. Everything we do goes through him and has to be the first man on the team sheet whoever our manager is!

He is turning into one of the most complete players in the premier league and with better shooting today he could of bagged himself a goal or two.
