Happy with a win and you can see how much the clean sheet meant to Kepa in particular. We really should have put five on them. That will come though.

Still vulnerable on set pieces, but without some taller players you sense we will struggle for a while in that area.

Tomori and Jorginho the stars for me. Jorginho in particular drove the team on and cooly took the penalty. Why he didn't take the one against Valencia I've no idea. Liked Willian's game too.

On the negative side, Barkley continues his slide towards the exit. Always with an extra touch and his lack of tracking back at various points in the second half left Dave and the centre backs exposed.

Happy for Frank to get a clean sheet, got his subs pretty much spot on. Good win without Kante and Rudiger too.

He’s just back from injury and created Willian’s goal with his pace and willingness to drive forward which got him an assist. What are you expecting him to do? Bag a hat trick?

I mentioned he might not have been fully fit, I was referring to his general play, his assist for Willian was good but if you look at the replay it was an obvious pass, nothing great about it. I believe he will get better as he improves his fitness, but perhaps he should let his game speak for himself. Apparently Frank has given him a dressing down after the game in the Carabao Cup over his attitude of entitlement. I hope he starts showing on the pitch what a great player he is.

I'm a Cho sceptic, but thought he played well. Made runs, looked for the right pass. That's what I expect from that position....willian doesn't do that

Happy with our performance today. Willian and Pedro were average, Barkley poor, everyone else had a good-great game!

I have to say it's been really moany in here for the past 2 hours.

We've just totally dominated a game with a batch of home-grown exciting talent while being managed by a genuine legend.

It doesn't really get much better than this as a football fan.

There's a couple Liam that would be a bit more supportive if Frank smoked a fag, wore a baggy track suit, had a face like a slapped arse and came from Italy.

I tend to ignore them.

CHO hasn't been great since he came on. He might not be fully match fit, but given the circus him and his agent created related to a move to Bayern and the contract signature, you would expect him to be more of an impact when he comes on. Better keep your head down and show you deserve to be in this team. Look at Mason Mount

I thought he looked pretty sharp and confident.

Good result and finally a clean sheet!

Jorginho MOTM for me, a leader’s performance.

Tomori had another good game, what a player!

Worried about Barkley, not often I agree with Tony Gale but he’s a step behind the rest of the Chelsea team.

Happy days though.

I think it stems from just wanting to see MORE of the home-grown exciting talent, and less of the likes of Barkley, Pedro, Alonso, Azpi and Willian, albeit the latter was decent in the 2nd half today, and I apologise in advance for including Dave in the list LOL.

Good result after a frustrating first-half.

EDIT: Also happy that Frank's finally won a game in front of the Stamford Bridge faithful!

Don’t say that mate, there will be a shed end lynch mob waiting to give you grief for stating that opinion - funny thing is, it’s most of the ones that was slating him before he signed like jilted ex’s.

Agree, Barkley is far and wide not good enough for the team it’s painful watching because you can tell he so badly wants to be a success but he’s just not on the level atall. Absolutely couldn’t believe it when Brighton had that dangerous spell and Barkley is hanging in the final third like he’s playing number 10 whilst Jorginho was back trying to cover the midfield on his own.

Tomori and Abraham were brilliant today as was jorginho, there header that hit the bar was Alonso closing his eyes and ducking the header again - he’s really bad defending set pieces.

That's a relief, I couldn't spot your orange shirt any more and I was beside myself!

Love Tomori. I'm unconvinced by Christensen. Thought Callum did well when he came on, far better than Pedro. Dave had a good game I thought. We need to sort out set pieces.

Very exciting times with all these kids and with our management team. It's a totally different vibe.

I thought Christensen was just as solid as Tomori in defence, didn't put a foot wrong, but his passing is another story, he gave away about 3 passes on the ground which is not good enough for a CB. That needs to improve, and that's been a problem in his game since he has started games here.

But other than that what did he do wrong? Also don't forget, Christensen is part of the kids, he's still very young.

As for the vibe couldn't agree more Davey, I'm more excited about this team than I was under Sarri, and that's meaning no disrespect. I never thought it would be the case, I completely written this season off.
