To where? He is an English player, and they are all viewed as overrated and overpaid on the continent. Besiktas is paid Everton just a  £1.86m loan fee & £8k/w of his £100k/w loan fee. We will be lucky to get anyone to pay 20% of his £300k/w+ wages.

Why is he playing that much? Not sure how this makes sense. Mudryk is sitting on the bench and this guy starts every game even though we all know he will very likely be gone in the summer. Oh ... and did I mention he has been absolute dogsh*t for weeks now????? Has already been a thing under Potter. The last time Sterling was good was under Tuchel, since then he has been useless.

I'd like to think he and others still have some professional pride.

Sterling's a good player, and he hasn't stood out as particularly being worse than the other players in our disaster of a forward line. Plus he's the only one who seems to understand how to score goals. Keep him around, he'll be good for us.

Still think he'll come good RW next season when we have an actual identity. Been sh*t but been thrown up top with Gallagher. Looked good first month or so before everything went to sh*t.
