Possibly, and still we complained about the number of missed chances, and not only us but Tuchel as well. Imagine our numbers if we'd been scoring most of the chances we created!

Where is the doubt LOL ?

Tuchel clearly managed to a completely different set of standards 🙂

It’s really depressing that there are still supporters who are backing potter at this point, throwing ridiculous excuses after excuse.

Certainly is. Supporters who are supporting the club and current manager, what ridiculous excuses for supporters we are...

I think we shall stick with Potter. It takes a while. You don’t turn around a supertanker in a bath . . .Pat Nevin said.

We all have to be very patient. Apparently. I am not very patient by nature. BUT I am also not seeing great candidates to replace the Potter man. At this moment in time.

I wonder what the mood in the dressing room is. How do the players feel about Potter man? Has he 'lost' the dressing room?

True, mind you you'd sh*t your pants if you climbed aboard your holiday destined Boeing 747 and found out the pilot is only qualified to fly a Piper Cub. Did some great loop de loops with it though, allegedly.

Terrifying to read for Harry, And why did we let Avram go, lost memories in the mists of time

I'll take your Win %, and raise you a Goals Per Game for our entire manager history as a club (20+ games managed) :

Pretty mental that Lampard was able to get those stats as our manager despite losing Hazard. Granted, most of the managers, if not all of them, did not suffer from the same injury issues for most of this season.

The owners have made it clear that they continue to back Potter despite the poor form, so most likely he will get at least the rest of the season. Of course that could change on the flip of a coin, but for now he stays. It is understandable that so many fans are upset right now, especially as our current form is probably something alien to many unless you were around in the late 70's/early 80's. Hopefully the fans continue to get behind the team and we can turn this around.

It seems the board are still backing him for now. I do wonder how much the pressure will be put on If we fail to pick up an acceptable amount of points in the next 4 games. Tottenham, should we win that? Maybe. Leeds? You would think so. Everton? With Dyche in charge, no idea. Then Leicester. Knowing Leicester and how they can turn up, no idea.

A lot of surprising conversion rates there, Lampas did quite well before the goals dried up. Mourinho mk2 outscored his first stint. Conte being so high up as well, I know we had some dry periods in his second season, it almost makes you forget the breathtaking counter attack goals we used to score when we were really up for it. Any chance we can get one with goals conceded per game mate?

Even right before he was fired, our form under Lampard was much better than it is now. 2 wins in his last 8 league games was the form that led to him being shown the door. But during that poor run we had also won 2 FA Cup games.

The goals didn't really dry up under Lampard. Even in the poor run that led to his dismissal we managed at least a goal in most games. It was defensively where things were going wrong.

Graham's doing much better on goals conceded per game ... here you go :

No surprise that Jose Mk 1 is top of the pack. That first season of his with 15 goals conceded is still my favourite Chelsea record !

So Scolari was having a 1.8 goals per game and a 0.67 conceded goal per game, that resulted in a 56% win rate prior to getting sacked.

That isn't really as bad as I thought it would be at all, Scolari was actually a decent coach that just couldn't make certain things work but he really wasn't as bad as I believed.

🚨 Multiple reliable, well-connected sources have told us that sections of Chelsea’s dressing room are “disinterested” in life under Graham Potter.

They also revealed that some players are particularly disinterested in team meetings held by Potter.

Sources revealed that some players are particularly disinterested in team meetings held by Graham Potter. It is felt by players that there is not much togetherness within the the team, there is a feeling amongst some that the team is now a bunch of individuals rather than a unified collective. The term “individuals not a team” came up from one source.

When asked about player’s appearing to be constantly smiling in revealed training pictures, sources hinted that player’s are enjoying playing in certain groups and mini games but when it comes to the behind scenes work ahead of the game, some are taking in information with one ear and letting it go out the other.

Sources revealed that there is a handful of players who genuinely still miss Thomas Tuchel whilst others have questioned to others privately why a proven, world class manager did not arrive following his departure.

The disconnect within the team is evident as some players are also known to be fans of Graham Potter and are optimistic for what the future could hold.

Sources said that the difference of opinion in the camp, alongside the many new signings are contributing to the factor of the feeling “individuals not a team”.

Many players want to leave in the summer and it is thought that Todd Boehly and co will not hold back with player’s who express a desire to move on.

A lot of that was inflated by his first couple of months. As soon as Benitez of all people came to Stamford Bridge and nullified the fullbacks and cut out Mikel in the build up he had no idea how to change things.

And he had our best team ever in the peak of their powers so being 4th with them is the equivalent of being mid table with any of our post 10 teams.

It wasn't bad at all ... had a bad spell with too many draws, and some defeats to title rivals,  and dropped to 4th after being Top for weeks. Only lost 4 league before the axe dropped after a bad draw at home to Hull.

We finished 11-1-1 after that, but that was still only good enough to improve one place to 3rd (83 points !!!!) behind Man U and Liverpool.

🚨 Source pointed out it’s common for clubs to include termination clauses in contracts, they reject the idea that Potter hasn’t been sacked because of the money it would cost. (@Matt_Law_DT)
