Ideally I wanted to put forward a completely chnaged 11, I am that disappointed in the lot of them, but I don't know our remaining youth players well enough to leave out Conor and Disasi.

March 2, 20242 yr Another player regressing under Pochettino? I hope not because he’s got so much quality, and I put down to tiredness, but given that all players seem to be regressing or stalling under this coach, I wouldn’t put it past.
March 2, 20242 yr I think he's also suffering under the standard that he's set. For me he was one of our most dangerous players against Liverpool, yet many of us will say he had a bad game, which he did for his standards. But he was causing a lot of problems for them. Even today I felt him, Gusto and Enzo were the only players who could create something and cause Brentford trouble. I'm not worried, he's a top player and the quality is there.

Palmer, Jackson and Sterling all have more league goals for this dog sh*t Chelsea team than Havertz ever managed for a Champions league winning Chelsea team under a real manager.
March 11, 20242 yr A few up and down performances, but he was more like himself tonight. Best player in the squad by a distance.
March 11, 20242 yr Listened to his interview.. real baller this bloke .. gives me KDB vibes to be honest.. I think he will eventually bulk up and move central ..
March 12, 20242 yr Thank goodness we bought him. He really already is some player and hopefully will develop into a great player for us.
March 12, 20242 yr Shocking to say as a Chelsea fan but realistically how long can we keep him until another team throws silly money at him to tempt him?

We have been so spoilt in the Roman era whereby we became an elite club who never sold our top players (until Madrid came calling for Courtois & Hazard). We don't have that luxury now and it would be a concern that players like Palmer & Gusto would have their heads turned if we don't start challenging for trophies. But hopefully, both are young and happy with how things are going for them individually at present.

Cole Palmer is making Manchester City's decision to buy Doku look ridiculous. Shoe in for England and is fast approaching Eden Hazards debut season stats for us, three goals away already equalled assists.... Big.Game.Player

Just wanted to say a load of us on bluemoon are absolutely gutted to see Palmer leave, me included. Having watched him come up through the academy, he's an incredible talent and IMO will go on to be world class and better than Foden. The lad can do everything and although it didn't really click for him last season (I think he was just trying up hard to impress) you could see he has talent to burn. This transfer will be remembered just as much, if not more than Mourinho selling KDB. In a year or so - maybe less - the media will be saying "What on earth was Pep thinking, letting Palmer go". You can bookmark this! I feel compelled to say "I told you so". I so wish we had not sold this lad. No idea what on earth Pep was thinking. OK so Palmer wanted more game time. Pep should have given it to him.

If he's gone out on loan to let's say, Girona, and smashed it, you'd have then had a 70m player on your hands who you could use or sell. 1 hour ago, RIP Mourinho said: Shocking to say as a Chelsea fan but realistically how long can we keep him until another team throws silly money at him to tempt him? Financially this seems likely, hopefully not for another 2 years. He won't exactly be an academy pure profit by that point, but we could still generate 70m of transfer profit quite easily for the books. I don't know if we will be in a position to turn that down. Let’s wait and see how the majority of our players develop first. With a couple of smart signings and a better manager, we should be challenging for trophies. I can already see a few players being top players in a couple of years time, such as Jackson, Gusto, Caicedo, Enzo, Colwill, and so on. The jury is still out on Mudryk but he looked frighteningly fast last night. So much potential in the squad.
