In my eyes he's above Ivanovic now, absolute legend and one of the best professionals that I've ever seen, the absolute role model. I still remember, I think it was Jose that said something like "give me 11 Azpilicueta's and I'll win everything".

If we keep playing 3 at the back there's no reason he couldn't be a key part of the first team for another 2 or 3 years. 

Doesn't really have the pace for the wing back role, playing week in, week out anymore but still a very good player. 

Over 400 appearances and captain for two European trophy victories. Most certainly a club legend and to think he cost just £7m... Bosingwa cost us more than double that and he was pants.

oh lord Bosingwa after his injury was dire.. but for 60 mins at camp nou.. he did something amazing at CB.. against the best attach of the last 20 years..

Not fit as a Captain. We need more leadership.

Absolutely loved when he jumped in on the Havertz interview and said something along the lines of “he deserves it after a tough season, he’s gonna be a superstar” leading the way and bigging up the youngsters. Love this guy

Im happy for him that his year was rewarded with a call up. By why did they call him up to waste his time. We could of done with him having a well deserved rest this summer.

I think Azpilicueta is now our most successful player in European competitions with 4 winners medals, overtaking David Luiz and Gary Cahill who won 3 each.

2 Europa League

1 Champions League

1 Super Cup

 

9 years today. What a legend!

 

Didn't age much I  have to say. Maybe his teeth got a bit whiter and not sure they make those trousers anymore but other than that looks the same. Good for him!
