Conte to Arsenal?

nah, can't see arsenal totally dismantling their philosophy of play under wenger for all these years and going with a more conservative coach. they may try battle with us for sarri or bring in jardim. maybe even ancelotti. exciting times for next season with arsenal getting a new manager too.

Wonder if Ty will back the new manager as much as he backed Wenger

Ty has also made the decision to leave Arsenal at the end of the season.

He's left them with a really good team actually. Whoever comes in should have a much better job than Moyes did at United.

He really hasn't, he's left with a massively unbalanced squad, in fact it's probably the worst squad since he was at the club.

Arsenal are getting this favourable underdog treatment lately. This is by far one of the worst squads ever under Arsene Wenger and I keep hearing about how good they are and how dangerous they can be. They're 6th for a reason...

Never in a million years did people ever think Spurs would surpass Arsenal, yet they have, and by quite a distance I believe. I can see Spurs finishing above Arsenal for years from now on.

Hung on a little too long, but glad Arsenal have let him go out with some grace.

Be interesting to see if he stays in the game or retires. I could see him becoming France manager post the WC.

Oh God NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't want him anywhere near France :runforhills:!!!!

already bored with the wenger dedication day like he's died or some sh*t. for f**ks sake arsenal supporters wanted him gone a couple years ago, now people acting like it's a big shock and huge news. wenger has been irrelevant since the early 00's.

During his tenure yeah, definitely. I was more comparing it with United when Ferguson left than I was with his previous squads though.

I'm bored of the love-in already too...the media have been slagging him off for years, saying he has to go and now they can't praise him enough...you'd never know it was fa cup semi weekend...it's been going on for 24 hours so far and the worst thing is we will have to put up with this sh*t (like when the spammers left Upton Park, sp*rs whl) right until the end of the season. Zzzzzzz

Reports saying Wenger will actually be sacked at the end of the season and be paid off with a cool £9 million.

I thought it was odd he'd step down all of a sudden after repeatedly saying he wants to finish his contract and who in their right mind will walk away from compensation?

Apparently his failures have finally started to affect revenue/growth and so Arsenal have to take action.

They are falling over each other to give us a CL spot. Didn't think the dippers would be dragged into a top 4 race but here they are.

Realistically though we're still not in good form and if I was an unbiased betting man I'd still bet on us to miss out.

But I hope the lads smell blood now and raise their game, I hope Conte takes this serious too and really fight for a spot.
