Yeah, and we don't have any of those.

We had a poster send spuds off to a concentration camp just now.  Pricks will be pricks everywhere, no matter the team!

Has to be big questions asked about the ref...how did Dier stay on the pitch and how didn't Vertonghen get his marching orders?

also the play before the goal - IMHO that was a pk on Michy - Demebele didn't get no where near the ball on that play - TBF the ref was in the pocket for spudz & they still didn't get the win

btw...I just saw these stats from Alonso (sorry if they were posted already)

We shd buy him and stick luiz in midfield. RUDIGER over Cahill for lyfe... And we need a 3rd choice striker i dont care if he is from the championship Batshuayi cant be trustred. I am sure alonso looked up , Saw batshuayi and said f**k it i will shoot from this tight angle

Let's be honest we aren't signing anyone of Van Dijk's standard before the end of the window. Luiz is great in the middle of a 3. Just hope Christensen is given a chance.

With you though absolutely superb in midfield today. So glad he's back home.

f**k me that's impressive.

Brilliant defensive display from the whole Team, and Kudos to Conte for getting the tactics spot on. Spurs had loads of possession but only six shots on target, says a lot about our collective effort and team spirit. Christensen, Bakayoka and Morata all had good performances and the 'media crisis' bullsh*t has been put to bed. Perfect Day!

F*ck off, those stats are amazing

Basically a 90 minute long panic attack, but there's something incredibly sweet about a late winner, even though I felt incredibly sorry for Michy giving away the own goal to level it up! Impressed with the tactical effort, a lot of work must have been put in by both Conte and the players leading up to this. There were some huge performances from guys who had to hit the ground running like Christensen, Rudiger and Bakayoko, all of whom grew into the game and you can see there's a lot of potential there. Extra credit because of the size of the game, at Wembley.

Cautiously looking forward to all our new boys getting up to full match fitness and sharpness, and of course Hazard coming back to strengthen our attack.

Oh and just another game where Thibaut shows why he's absolutely at the top of the class in world keepers.  Lloris would have let several of those chances in.

Courtois was an unsung hero today. Claimed everything in the air and saved a few. Could have done better on some but overall very good today

What a win!!! What a result. Come on Chelsea.

ANDREAS CHRISTENSEN. WHAT A DEBUT!!! (By the way this performance just goes on to show how much fans actually know, be it "local" or "international").

Tibo - Great display. Would be kicking Bats for stealing his clean sheet. 9/10

Moses - Tried to do way too much on his own. Not him to blame, simply the system he played. Needs to be better defensively though. 6/10

Azpi - Except for Alli nutmegging him, he was great. Pin-point cross for morata. 8/10

Andreas - Alonso would be my MOTM for his goals, but performance-wise, Andreas was GREAT. Would be criminal if he is dropped. 10/10

Rudi - Pretty average. Gives silly fouls. A bit better on the ball than Zouma but hardly looks like an upgrade defensively (Zouma was a beast yesterday for Stoke). 6/10

Alonso - Ran up and down the pitch all game long. Great work defensively and what a free kick. Match Winner and MOTM. 10/10

Luiz - I blame Conte for the Burnley defeat. Cesc should never have started as a CM in a 2. It was a foolish decision. Luiz should have been the go to option, just like today. He and Baka seemed to have a communication problem. A lot of times both went for the same ball, closed down the same man (leaving another free). But overall great perfroamnce. Except for his hollywood passes which never find their targets. 7/10

Kante - Brilliant performance. Cant analyze him, as its the same every week. 9/10

Bakayoko - Shaky start and debut. Went missing for large chunks of game. Had one great toure-ish run. Cant wait till he gets back to fitness. 6/10

Willian - Poor. Just like Moses, tried to do everything on his own. Was isolated and barely had options. Was closed down by the spurs mid who knew the threat he possessed. I am not going OTT with the criticism on him, because it was not the system for him to thrive. 5/10

Morata - Wow!!! We are in for a whirlwind season of which striker can play worse. Looked totally unfit and Un-Burnley-ish. Was so soft on the ball, Should have scored that sitter, hold up play was non-existent as he was on the ground as soon as he got the ball.He might be in for a tough ride in PL. 3/10

Subs -

Bats - Sometimes you try to do things and they just get f**ked up. Hope he can redeem himself soon enough.

Pedro - Did not have much to do.

The result is ever important, the performance was secondary, we were missing some key players, Bakayoko had his first start since coming back from surgery and Morata is still not 100%. Not to mention the fact that we're still waiting on more signings before the window closes.

Our second half performance against Burnley and the reaction to an own goal should be proof enough that all that talk about problems in the Chelsea dressing room is emanating from the British journos' arses. As long as we demonstrate this type of mentality, we'll be OK.

Excellent decision from the mods. The fewer pricks, the better, although I suspect the Spuds moderators don't share that view
