He is away in Germany but can’t hold up the ball like the two lumps we currently have.

We've comfortably had more shots than Barca tonight but haven't made them count. The difference between the 2 teams tonight is probably Courtois and the woodwork

It's not meant to be. Four shots on the woodwork, some brilliant blocks by Barca defenders, gave Barca all the goals in this tie on a plate. We need a clear out in the Summer. Courtois and Morata should be first to go.

f**k it.  But 3-0 flatters Barca.  Hoped we'd make more of a game of it.  But still better than Manure last night.  Hey ho.  

The most bitter loss in football is a champions league exit. Atleast it was a slow death. Credit to the boys, Messi was just in one of them moods.

Happy with the performance we didn't just roll over a world-class keeper and it would be a different match

at least we gave it a go unlike that embarrassment against city.

We’re no longer a force in Europe or England and we have to face it, we won’t be until we invest properly and not on some of the crap we have signed. Decent on the ball, create chances, great, don’t take any most of the time and we’re awful defensively, with an overrrated goalkeeper. No idea what bt pundits are talking about, we’re just no way near good enough anymore and it’s depressing.

You mean Courtois, got done like a kipper on both goals.

Hope we see a major clearout in the summer. Our 'big' players apparently don't want to play for us any more.

I'd rather we lose 3-0 having a go, with decent possession, pass completion, a good number of attempts and looking like we can play football, than 1-0 sitting back playing like Sheffield United. 

We could have done so much more.

Players to blame for this one.

We played quite well at times. Second half I'd go as far as saying we were the better team, we had more the ball in their half, but unfortunately it was setup perfectly for them at that point where they could just counter attack.

End of the day though, this team of players just isn't at the level of teams we've had in the past. We have very few big game players, like a Drogba, a Terry, a Lampard, a Cole, a Ballack. All we have really now is Azpilicueta and if he is fit and in the right frame of mind, Luiz. If the board wants to get back to challenging for the CL, we need to improve this squad, not just sign average players like Drinkwater, Bakayoko, Barkley, Giroud, etc...

 

Disappinting but not a surprise.

As we knew already this team is not very good. As we are finding out tibo and Eden are not as good as we believed them to be.

Poor finishing and a defense that leaks goals. Needs a lot of work.

Thought Morata did okay when he came on, no worse than Giroud.
