Contact does not mean foul, there was no foul there. How can any referee look at that and say that Sane has been impeded there? If that is penalty, then there should be a penalty every single time any player is touched in the box. So far, VAR has done nothing to improve the game in this country, the decision making is as bad as it was without it.
October 5, 20196 yr I’d rather they did well, and someone else is close. Then the last few games or last game they blow it and the other team beats them by one point. As for The sh*te from the lane hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Unbelievable that var sustained the decision, maybe too believable giving the FA wants Lolpool to win.
October 5, 20196 yr i thought var would end all bias reffing, but instead it has opened the door to a whole new world of bias and cheating
October 5, 20196 yr It makes me even more angry when we get a goal chalked off against these pricks for offside thanks to VAR, when rules state that VAR should never have got involved. We also had VAR very harshly overturning Zouma's goal vs Norwich and then not giving Azpilicueta a penalty in the same game when every single person watching it said it was a penalty. There was also the incident where Abraham was fouled in the build up to Norwich's goal, and again, VAR did nothing to help us out. When you see so many wrong VAR decisions made against your own club and then they give a penalty to Liverpool for that.........well, we may as well just give up right now because us and the rest of the league stand no chance. If Liverpool can't win a game on their own, then VAR will be there to bail them out every single time. Edited October 5, 20196 yr by Scott Harris
October 5, 20196 yr Just seen the penalty. Wow! Liverpool are the only team that would get awarded that. He hardly touched him. VAR is looking like a smokescreen to give decisions to whichever team the referees want to.

I have said from the beginning that VAR will only further highlight just how terrible football refs are. Edited October 5, 20196 yr by Scott Harris
October 5, 20196 yr after the favoritism on display for lpuke, I told myself that I wouldn't watch the EPL anymore today. Then I saw West Ham vs Crystal Palace...A London Derby & I couldn't resist
October 5, 20196 yr Unfortunately VAR will only ever be as good as the referee at Stockley Park and the problem in the EPL is it’s exactly the same bunch of bias referees as on the pitch, they just swap jobs each week. So it’s ended up as another way for referees to give decisions to their favourite teams or managers. I’m worried this will continue until we get a new generation of referees. There’s no way Chelsea, Burnley and loads of other teams would of got a last minute decision with that kind of contact, that could potentially turn a draw into a victory.
October 5, 20196 yr So anyone still thinks that the whole league isn't rigged for them to win it after 30 years?
October 5, 20196 yr My utter joy at the complete capitulation of the spuds earlier in the day ..... it was just over a season ago they had the best young players and the best up and coming manager, how funny....... however we seem to be in the dark ages of the 70’s where the scousers get away with murder
October 5, 20196 yr Its their year and I don't have any issues with that stop city winning three in a rowhopefully pep ends the season trophy less
October 5, 20196 yr Decent result for us. A win tomorrow will see us in 4th or 5th depending on the ArseMouth result.

October 5, 20196 yr So a Leicester player got loads of racist abuse on social media after fouling a Liverpool player, let's see if it gets the same media headlines as us and Man utd got.
October 5, 20196 yr If Mane doesn't get a retrospective ban for fooling the official on the pitch, and the blind twat on VAR duty, their is no justice, and no reason to keep VAR.

October 6, 20196 yr FA is working hard with the referees and VAR to ensure Liverpool winning the league this year. It's common sense that players will seek any contact to go down in the box in the dying minutes of the game, how could a referee give a penalty like that? I'm sure referee have seen these kind of last second incidents all the time, it should never be given unless it's blatant foul or dangerous play. The VAR is supposed to cut out dodgy decisions as such, and did go to referee's call. The same VAR who was happily ruled out a goal when nobody complained for a supposedly 1-2 CM of offside ( depends on which angle people want to look like) in Liverpool's favor. That's 4 points turned around to VAR call, and it's only game 8. The system is clearly working, deciding the end results before 1/4 of the season gone. We must win tonight, looks like Spurs is fading fast just like Jose's third season. Maybe the players no longer listen or follow the manager's words, and there's no way back. October 6, 20196 yr City incurred 5 yellows suggesting a nasty match or bad losers. Luiz gets the solitary winner for Arsenal.
October 6, 20196 yr Liverpool will win the title this year, I just can't see it going any other way. City are going to go on runs where they look really good, but they will keeping dropping points here and there and Liverpool will slowly increase their lead. By the time Christmas arrives, I expect them to be 10+ points clear at the top. Liverpool are already approaching the point where they can make a mistake and drop a few points, City can no longer afford to do that. I don't expect much to change at the top this year, I think the winner will finish with 30+ wins. It would be a very special day for football if Liverpool were to fail to win it this year though ?
