Very frustrating.

The signings of Werner and Ziyech are exciting, but if we don't sort out our defensive situation in the transfer window, it's going to hold us back from being a genuine title contender for the next few years.

We don’t have a problem getting it to the final third it’s just bad decisions and no quality in the final ball.

I said it in the RLC thread, and not judging him on 45 mins of football returning from a terrible injury. I just don’t see what all the fuss is about. Very lethargic footballer to me, physically and mentally.

C’mon we have seen loads of the ball & create loads of chances. A regista won’t/hasn’t made us finish them all season long.

Was hoping the break would have led to a change in mentality from the lads and Frank but I guess now. Powder puff as usual 

RLC is not in the rythem at all, always a second late to a pass or running in the wrong direction, he has to be replaced at halftime I think. 

It might have been 3 months ago, but Frank really should have kept the winning team together ... especially the midfield that was bossing the game ... and the defence that was keeping clean sheets ...

Frank really needs to get a clue in what he wants when we play bottom table teams, we're playing outside backs who's strength is keeping the ball, with midfielders and wingers who are best running about, with a CF who wants balls in the air? We just don't fit together.

I was actually calm while football wasn't on. Now I'm back to stressing out again. Yep, football is back. 

Aston Villa's tactics worked ours didn't.

Mount has been the highlight of the game. Showing plenty of energy and enthusiasm.

Good to see RLC back, but he's struggling out there.

Very disappointing to be a goal down, but we can rectify it in the second half.

I was fearing they would score.

Part from RLC header in the box all we did was to shoot from distance, against one of the worst teams in the league.

I’m not singling him out, Mount & Azpi were at that back post as well and didn’t seem to react either and as you’ve both pointed out Alonso & Christensen should have done better. I just can’t help but this if that’s Petr, he gets more on it and pushes it further out, but it was still a good safe. sh*te defending all round. Surprise, surprise!
