He was better, far better. It's you that is rewriting history. Gallagher has nothing on peak Kante. Peak Kante was one of the best players around winning titles, Gallagher is a workhorse playing for a mid table team.

Obviously Kante was better, I’m just showing Kante had the exact same limitations that people berate Gallagher for. Difference being Gallagher has created the most chances for his team this season while still topping the tackles, interceptions, possession won etc. for the team.

This isn't the same as the Mount situation TBF. Chelsea (manager, owners and fans) all wanted Mount to stay but Mount didn't want to stay. With Gallagher it seems pretty clear that him being sold would be from the top as well as many fans.

We probably need a few more games where he isn't on the pitch for fans to see what he brings to the side. All clubs higher in the league than us will be in for him if the owners decided to commit hari-kari and sell him. 

I see a lot of Kantes game in Gallagher, Kante was already mid twenties when he signed for us. Gallagher is younger, Different players but Gallagher is superb at putting pressure and winning the balls back in opposition final third. Very Kante esk. But very different players. 

Midfield was left on Conor today. Hard ask.

Bang on. However for someone who definitely is not a 10 year old, what does FUT mean? Comparison to online Football Manager games seems very apt though

If Gallagher is sold, along with the rumors of Broja, Chalobah, Maatsen and Madueke, then we wil know it is true and we are concerned about our FFP.

 

So let's see who is here, and who is not, on February 1st.

No secret I have no faith or belief in these owners but I will hold fire and see if they have learned something for this window and do what is best for Chelsea, or what is best for their pockets.
