March 5, 20224 yr Reece James, Reece Reece James. So much for for Lukaku being the “missing piece of the puzzle”. It’s Reecey.

March 5, 20224 yr As I said before it’s not coincidence we were dropping in form when Reece and chilly got injured they two are vital for our formation

I think we would have reverted to type with slow play. As it was Burnley then couldn’t dig in and play for a point( their record when conceding first is appalling)

THere will be ignorant people in every crowd. If i recall the Luton fans booed when our players took the knee against racism in the Fa cup tie midweek and no in the media talked about it Edited March 5, 20224 yr by The Don Antonio

It is quite apparent that for Tuchel’s current system to work optimally, we need those guys firing. It’s no coincidence we lost ground when Chilly went down. Everything had a flow with them in the lineup. It’s a pity we didn’t get Hakimi. One of the most important upcoming transfers is getting 3 deep at wing-back if we continue this system.
March 5, 20224 yr Enjoyed the game in H2, Jorginho still only looks half the player of last season. Havertz starting to get goals as well as minutes, but still not sure he is more than a false 9. Overall was pretty impressed with Pulisic, put in a big shift, never went missing. Of course Reece James has the skills, he is a real talent. Should add I enjoy these threads. More ups and downs than the average lift bank Edited March 5, 20224 yr by ozboy

March 5, 20224 yr I’m taking credit for this win thanks to my unplanned prematch trip to Cobham (village not training ground) an hour before kick off). You’re all welcome!
March 5, 20224 yr Well done @Munkworth not falling asleep during that first half. Great to have James back. Been so long since we were clinical in a game and punished a side. Juve the last ones.
March 6, 20224 yr Most, if not all, headlines and articles about the game have very little information about the match and is all about the Abramovich chants during the minutes applause...colour me surprised.
March 6, 20224 yr A tale of two halves, with the second half being excellent. We had our moments of vulnerability, but our clinical finishing was very good. A stark contrast to what we've experienced over the past few months. Reece James was excellent. Just a shame we don't have Chilwell on the other side as both players make us structurally better. Biggest away PL win since October 2018 which was against Burnley funnily enough. Edited March 6, 20224 yr by Jezz
March 6, 20224 yr Great day out yesterday, poor first half, followed by a supurb second half, Reece stood out for me as did the Silky German. Great away support as usual. But , now I love Roman as much as the next Chelsea fan for all he has done for our club and I agree with singing his name to thank him for 18 or so Great years, but singing his name during the clapping our support for the poor souls of Ukraine was out of order. It's a shame our support let ourselves down yesterday. Rant over up the Chels

It’s just another stick to beat us with for years to come now. I’ve given up defending against the ‘all Chelsea fans are racists etc.’ now, I just laugh and agree because it’s easier. 7 hours ago, erskblue said: Thanks Chelsea! A marriage that’s been properly blessed Unfortunately sounded like a lot to me, although the roof doubles the sound, I have seen and listened to clips on tv, motd, for instance and you could hear it over the clapping. There's a time and place and during a minute of respect for the poor souls of Ukraine, singing Romans praises is not the moment . We are better than that arnt we ?
