He was surrounded

He should have passed much earlier. There was a clear chance to do it.

Gallagher wasn't good today. His decision making was poor. There was one time where he took the ball and could have turned into space behind him, but passed the ball back. Jorginho was clearly annoyed as threw his arms up a bit.

I’m happy with that. It’s a journey - with so much old guard that can’t score (Mount, Havertz, Ziyech) still there didn’t expect an immediate change.

to me it’s about the new. Badeshielle again looks really good to me. Mudryk looks exciting. Throw Felix, James, Chilwell, Kante into that side and things will happen.

while I’m not a fan, Jorginho and Ziyech both played well today.

Definitely a mid-table clash - dross football, boring as hell to watch...a long rest now, hopefully a new starting 11 when we return.   2 points lost in the first half TBH, Liverpool were really poor in the first half and we didn't take advantage of that.   Good debut by the Billy Whizz, first game so likely a bit nervous so I'll excuse him on that chance.  No excuses for Mount, Jorgi though, offered nothing, could see Hall is still raw around the edges, Cucurella was OK, Badashali was solid along Tiago; what the f**k we are going to do when he retires I have no idea..

f**king Gallagher, headless chicken..

You either have football nous or you dont. Gallagher never owned one, Sell him to Crystal Palace.

Should have won the game but it's much improved, Ziyech, Silva and Cucurella were our best players and then Mudryk came on and showed the sort of qualities we've been crying out for. We definitely need a CM. Next game we could have Chilwell, James, Mudryk and Madueke starting for us and I'm more than ready for that. The game after we can add Felix into the fold too.

Decision making decides matches, wrong choices has become a feature of our attacking play

We were relatively comfortable in defence…Silva again sublime

Mudryk looks like he might be a player…good debut considering he hasn’t played since November

Badiashile was good defensively  though a few errant passes

Signs of some structure to our play , I expect better next match  after a full 2 weeks training

Congraats to Dave 500 appearances

Very impressed again with Badiashile.

The composure and how calm he is at his age at the back is really impresive. What a big weapon he also is on set pieces.

The body he has at that age. So happy with this transfer where I had little expectation.

Mudryk will give us a lot of joy!

Dropped points, but at the same time some positive things to take from this game.

Another game we fail to score under Potter and another game we never look like scoring in a million years aside from Mudryks individual quality creating something out of nothing.

The performance wasn't bad but this is a very very poor Liverpool side and we weren't able to really threaten them despite than conceding goals and chances at will against everyone else.

As midtable a clash as it gets.

I'll take that, although a match we could of and probably should of won with better decision making.

Another clean sheet.

I thought Badiashile was solid again today - really like the look of him so far.

Ziyech was good and Mudryk looked lively.

Something to build on I thought.

And lets not forget we have got players on their way back.

Let's see what the 2nd half of the season brings.

A draw is no good for us, considering the form of both teams a draw at binfield not the end of the world but disappointing really considering the chances

also I think than Havertz was behind the ball when Silva struck so not offside need to look at that again

I agree.. but decision making also improves when confidence is high.. if we were coming here after a bit of a run we would have buried some of these chances.

What really?? We had so many chances to score but our finishing was poor.. we had so many touches in their boxes.. you may not like GP but this is completely bullsh*t
