February 26, 20233 yr If anyone else says they are OK to see Tottenham winning if it means Potter leaves/Mount gets sold/Havertz never starts again I will scream. Call yourselves Chelsea fans? f**k off. Carragher and Gerrard would make better fans than you. No sense of our history, our rivalries, our identity. Just completely f**king clueless. Call yourselves supporters. Would love to see you outside.

Also, have to say shame on the players for putting nothing in a London derby. Yep, players also need to take blame. There's been nothing from the usual suspects. Fed up of saying the same thing about our players.
February 26, 20233 yr Fck this how does potter explain this .. another managerless team we are losing to.

February 26, 20233 yr It's pointless even getting annoyed about this now. Potter isn't up to the job and the owners don't want to get rid.
February 26, 20233 yr Aubamayang on reece in the game what a surprise. Edited February 26, 20233 yr by smileysmiles
February 26, 20233 yr Just now, enigma said: James isn't influential like he was. Such a strange situation. What's strange about a players level dropping when you sack a world class manager and hire the worst coach in the league? Basically a reverse Rashford situation. February 26, 20233 yr Another game, another proof that Potter isn't the guy for the job. Another new XI, another sh*te HT team talk, another poor substitution, another half where we concede goals. Potter has to be the worst manager that has ever managed Chelsea Football Club.
February 26, 20233 yr This one is on potter too.. a midfield of RLC and Enzo and Ziyech in the starting 11.. bye bye

Let us just be thankful we have an owner that will back us to the tune of billions, put a project in place and get people that share the vision to make us great. That is the beauty of stability, it's not about now it's about what and how we can finally be looked at from other clubs and oppo fans. They are complaining about their sense of entitlement.
February 26, 20233 yr It all starts from the team selection, or really match preparation all week. Picking Ziyech, RLC, KK, we can’t expect much different. Yet another game we’ve used 16 players and it’s all disjointed
February 26, 20233 yr I admire the ownership for thinking long-term and having aspirations of a project to get back to the top. I think the intent is right and it's what I want the club to be rather than the hire-fire model we had under Roman. However, you can't continually persist with something if it's clearly not working. If you had a manager in the calibre of Mourinho, Ancelotti or Conte you'd ideally strive for a long-term project and back them in down times. Potter doesn't need to be perfect at this stage, but you have to win enough games along the way to keep the faith. He's unable to do this. 2 wins in 16 PL games. 2 wins in 15 games in all competitions. We haven't scored 2+ goals in a match since the Boxing Day fixture against Bournemouth.

While that might seem a daft statement I remember a similar situation in 1974/75 when we got relegated on the last day of the season. The way we're going I just can't see where the next win is coming from never mind the 5 or 6 that we need to guarantee safety.
