Chelsea vs Ipswich Town (PL) Sun 13th Apr 25 14:00 GMT

Featured Replies

Not good enough we played Ipswich twice and only managed a point

Don’t see next year will be better with this man nor with the players we have

Good response second half

Damage done in the first 45

This side needs a couple of experienced heads in cases of adversity, too many young players learning bad habits from young players

Conference League here we go again?

Champions League chances are gone. Can't even beat one of the worst Premier League sides ever in two games against them. Abysmal since Christmas and not a single sign of improvement since. Missing out on Champions League football for a third season running would be a disaster for any club that has spent the money we have spent, but the owners get lucky again and will be bailed out with the Club World Cup. This will be their last chance though. Fail next season, and we're f**ked. They will be forced to make sales and Palmer will likely be one of the first players sold.

It never had to be this way, but these clowns with their ego thought they were better than the entire world of football. Well it's blowing up in their faces, and everybody with a brain told them so.

now we just wait for the cnt to come out with his post match crap

I'm not even going to bother. I can't be asked to listen to his bullsh*t a second longer. He's been doing it since day 1 when he said Sanchez was his number 1, Chilwell wasn't good enough and Chukwuemeka was only good enough for a loan. He can shove it up his ass. He's a yes man for these sh*te owners.

Truly unlikeable team. We all loved Dixon Bonneti Chopper Drog Lamps etc even when they had off days, but this lot!!. Not one of these players put in two decent performances in a row. Sancho scores a great goal today, he'll be non existent in the next 3. Palmer looks like he's had enough. Cucurella is either a terrier or a liability. And as for Jacko!! I could go on but we've all seen what's happening. Why anyone would want CL football with this group of misfits I don't know. My only hope is we win the Conference League. Not for the players, not for the manager of the owners/directors but for the club and the loyal fans who follow the team everywhere. Up the Chels

Our remaining fixtures are terrible. Don’t think we qualify for Conference League.

Yup, it's only going to be freefall down the table from here. Either we win Conference and secure Europa, or it's no European football next season.

All of this is Maresca's fault... he's a f**king shyte manager.

It's not over yet but Maresca's poor decisions have cost us 4 points from the games against Brentford and Ipswich - he's got to go.

But cannot deny Ipswich goalie made some great saves - especially the two at the end from Enzo and Palmer.

I'd much rather have him than that twat Sanchez that we've got.

ps. we need to let Jackson go too - he's never in the right ff'ing place lol

Terrible result. Not sure why Maresca keeps messing about with the defence. How does that help? That first half killed us. Couldn’t put away our chances then they score from their only efforts.

We did well to get back in the game and their keeper made some great saves at the end. But we shouldn’t be in the position where we’re having to come back from a two goal deficit against Ipswich.

I think that’s CL gone and I don’t see how Maresca can survive that.

A truly abysmal performance first half and not much better in the second. We are broken from board room to boot room.

Nah - we have the basis for a decent enough team.

Just need the manager to stop selecting our worst players (Sanchez, Baddy, the c**t donkey) and stop the team playing such slow, sideways and stagnant football.

The commentator said during the match that we hadn't scored a 1st half goal in any football match for nearly 2 months!

And it's actually true, not since we played Southampton at home back in February.

Let that sink in for a minute!

This is Maresca ball people.

Newcastle winning means there's no realistic chance of us getting proper Europe next season. Frankly we don't deserve it either.

Man Utd not long equalised !

Someone's been naughty, clearly. Ikea on match day is brutal 🤣

How do you know it wasn't my idea ? LOL

As Todd might have said : "Good wardrobes ... wonderful meat balls ... "

I think I had a better afternoon than the rest of you, judging by the look of things in this thread ! Kudos to the dark humour on display as usual ...
