I’ve always liked Willian, but I can’t excuse that behaviour. We don’t know what happened and Conte has possibly been a bit out of order, but you don’t expect a 29 year old man to be this childish. So it’s either Willian leaves or Conte leaves, mind you, couldn’t that be the case with Luiz and more importantly Hazard?

Cesc, Willian and Luiz can go if Conte stays. There's 3 of the 4 who seem to have the biggest issue with him and none of them will be irreplaceable. 

Jose has already laid the groundwork to fight against anyone who speaks ill of his tactics. He's made it clear a significant portion of his players aren't up for it and unless it's Lukaku or Pogba who revolt they'll just be labeled weak and unworthy off the back of his comments. Antonio doesn't have this foresight/cynicism.

Unnacceptable insubordiation really.

I'd prefer Martial over him so a potential swap makes sense.

Tbf i've seen him misplace so many passes over the seasons he probably didn't mean to put the trophies there and was trying to put them elsewhere.

I see why people are getting on Willian's back for this and to be honest it does look bad.

But, to play devil's advocate and given we don't know the reason behind the tweet, he could just as easily be suggesting that Conte is trophies and is a perennial winner.   

Thoroughly unprofessional...and honestly, not at all what I would have expected from Willian. If there's one thing I'd have never questioned of him, it would be his professionalism.

Very disappointing. Even if you don't get on with the manager, it's so unnecessary. Post the picture without the cups on Conte...seriously. How hard is it to do that?

I seem to remember Costa doing something similar last season, although he was no longer our player so it wasn’t quite as bad. It makes me wonder if there could be a longstanding tiff between Conte and the Brazilian clique. Add to that the mysterious disappearance of David Luiz.

I know it’s not popular but I wouldn’t be opposed a swap deal with Martial. Willian who is 30 years old and we would be getting a young striker. 

I hate having to do these type of deals but if we’re tight on money then we have to compromise. Let’s face it, Willian isn’t exactly a prolific AM. He’s just a workhorse.

I think if it’s a possibility we should do it. Martial under the right manager and playing CF (he’s not a winger) could be superb.

Really sad to see that, The players social media is rather constrained and neutered as it is so he's probably broken a shed load of internal rules. Internal fine and disciplinary action.

I am sick of seeing us sell our players to rivals, but I was actually coming round to the idea of swapping Willian with martial. 

After seeing how utterly childish Willian was with that tweet, I think we should refuse him a move to United. 

Maybe some team in China will pay big money for him, he's chased the money once, and im sure he would chase it again.
