What a performance by us, we were the better team since the beginning of the match, we looked strong and showed our class as well. Moved the ball quickly forward, Conte pushed our defenders high and we didn't come to sit at this game, we came to attack and here the results. Can't describe how happy I am now, that goal just killed my voice. We should be proud of every player this game, we all did it together. 

I'd go with a surprise name this game, I think Moses was something different today, to start against Atletico and he didn't fear Carrasco and Felipe Luis, stood against them really well. A big performance by him.

Morata was so determined to get that goal.

Hazard back to his best. Hopefully, when both of them play more, Morata will be able to take more advantage of hazard's beautiful offerings.

And man, this guy ALONSO, he is our new IVANOVIC. So much stamina and making runs upto the last minute.

I was not happy with Moses' performance. Wasn't offering much going forward and takes a lot lot of time to get back .

And Luiz, I can't find a single reason why he had to foul that guy to beat him. He looked so short.

Time for bed for me but just have to say I thought our Captain was also superb tonight. The ball he nicked off Grezimann's foot just as he was teeing up the shot near the end...... Superb.

To be fair, he said "you won't see a better goal in the Champions League tonight" and he's probably right too. It was a world class piece of football. We knew it was the last attack of the game and we kept calm and scored a great team goal to win a game against one of the top sides in Europe.

Got to give massive respect to Victor Moses, from a guy who was loaned out to Stoke & West Ham not so long ago he looked like an average PL player, now he looks like one of the best RWB's in the world, could get in any top side with his performances. Excellent consistency and he's now showing it in Europe. 

I never saw that win coming. This team is incredible!

However, Cahill seems to have aged a lot. Not as fast and solid as he used to be :(. Luiz wasn't in his best night. Kanté fabulous. Hazard magnificent. Morata proved that our  million £ were well invested. Batman with his usual screamer at the last minute :), and Willian did not look that bad tonight :)! Bakayoko looked solid overall, the same goes for Alonso and Moses. Actually, Moses was very good actually ! 

 

On Cahill also : he was alright, even decent, but I thought sometimes he did not seem as confident as he used to be in terms of positioning for instance IMO.

Yeah I've probably got that wrong then, it was more of the tone of voice he put on trying to be iconic that got me laughing, was like he read it from a script.

Think we have a monster of a midfielder in Bakayoko he has absolutely everything just needs to iron out those silly fouls but at 23 years old he can go on to become one of the best around

He reminds me of Viera in Arsenal during his frist season from Milan. He has a high ceiling while Matic has already Peaked. great signing by us and could actually grow to be better than Kante which is f**king Scary

I got up at 4:45am for this one, although was woke up at 2:30 when the mrs mum called ffs, doesn't seem to understand the concept of time difference!! So off to work after about 3hrs sleep. Certainly dont regret it though, what a game!! Deserved win away against a top top side, and the look on Diego's face at the end was the icing on the cake!!

Great performance all round;

Courtois - 7, solid but didnt have much to do.

Dave - 7.5, Another solid defensive performance, but didn't do anything note worthy. 

Luiz - 6.5, Some excellent moments, that ball to morata, but gave away a silly pen. 

Cahill - 7.5, Solid

Alonso - 8, good game defensively and provided the assist for the win

Moses - 8, run that flank, good game

Bakayoko - 8.5, excellent performance, good pressing and driving runs

Kanté - 9, At his best tonight, was effective when he pushed forward and pressured their defence

Cesc - 7.5, decent game, but the cesc magic wasnt in abundance tonight. 

Hazard - 9, run the show, Man of the match

Motata - 8.5, another excellent performance, another well taken header, very excited about his partnership with Hazard. 

 

Batsman - honourable mention, did exactly what a super sub should do, nice finish Michy!!

Great win today, the midfield 3 were pretty much dominant and solid throughout. Morata held the ball up well today and showed the type of aggression we have not seen from him. Maybe it still felt like a Madrid derby for Morata, hence the aggression.

Hazard was pure class, and a couple things I noticed today, he crossed and shot more than usual. Always wanted Hazard to shoot more, maybe he is adding that to his game.

I thought Cahill had a decent game. Luiz was good also, but worryingly have seen his lack of concentration and erratic play creeping back in, which lead to a cheap goal given away.

There are not a lot of teams that go to Atleti and win. Well done lads. How's it going Diego Costa !!.

High pressing, energetic, direct but flowing high tempo football. It was so enjoyable to watch.

So pleased after the histrionics about the transfer window (me included) all of the signings we have made have all added quality to us.

When Morata first arrived i thought he had a similar style and body language to Torres (or the player that Torres should have been!). Was i ever wrong. This boy's touch, movement, deceptive pace, and finishing is different class.

We do still need a bit of back up though, i was holding my breath every time Morata got hurt in a tackle!!
