Pretty sure this would mean that Conte would end up playing Hazard as the target striker though...

I still don't get why we're not in for Giroud if Aubameyang goes to Arsenal. This January reminds me of when Big Phil was manager and we gave him Quaresma in January and sacked him three weeks later. 

In the Gossip columns today:

"Chelsea may face a transfer ban for breaking the rules on the signing of foreign players aged under 18. (Guardian)"

Two thoughts come to mind:

1. If a transfer ban results in us not signing Andy Carroll, Peter Crouch or even Niall bl**dy Quinn then please bring it on.

2. Irony of all ironies if Chelsea cop a ban for illegal approaches to under 18's (that didn't sound right (!) but you know what I mean) that never end up playing for the club anyway and are loaned out to every other bu88er around us.

Cant be right.  No f**king way the boards that inept.  Struggling to understand how we ever got to this policy.

 

P.S  -  Why is Matt Law sources so reliable and trusted?? 

I'm really hoping we are linked to all these average strikers due to the fact we have a someone like Belotti lined up in the summer.  We just need a cheap English option for 6 months that won't add to our non home grown quoter.  

Though I think the papers are making the Crouch links up, they've been negative towards Chelsea all season.  If its true I'm defo getting Crouch on the back of my shirt.  What number do you think he will be? 

I'm hoping this and the Andy Carroll rumours were put out by Chelsea PR as a decoy, so when we eventually sign Dzeko we all go 'well, could've been worse!'.

I could see a bit of sense in Carrol, but Couch rumour is just beyond a joke. I know we aren't looking to spend 40M on a second striker, but for F* sake our standard wouldn't have dropped this much. He's not even getting a start for a relegation team, and hell they'd keep him at all cost just for that 10-15 minutes cameo for that goal.

Tomorrow we will be linked with Heskey, I mean he's big, strong, good header, a bit older than Crouch but we will look the other way.
