I think Sarri is the type of person that would show respect to the fans if it was afforded to him in the first place.

If it was me, my first press conference would have been "I got 3rd, won the Europa League and made the League Cup final with an average squad.  But the spoilt Chelsea fans didn't think it was enough so I decided to leave."

Don't expect anything positive from a manager that 'we' have abused all season long.

Jesus, can you not just thank two managers who won trophies for our team and wish them the best in the future instead of crying over spilled milk and arguing about who hates who more? 

 

I would have preferred José not go to United but he did, such is life. They all won trophies for us and for that, personally, I’ll always be grateful irrelevant of how it ended. Some of you are acting like Sarri/Conte had a sh*te on the centre circle at Stamford bridge and then pissed on your seat. Everyone’s gonna have differing opinions on who they prefer but abusing previous managers who were successful here is a bit cringe. (Except FSW - he’s allowed).

Using Klopp isn't a strong point as every window Klopp has had bar one is a sh*t one going by the exact same logic used by people here. Klopp also got the absolute best out of what he had and accepted he couldn't play complete fantasy football all the time. Do you really think Conte would have accepted Robertson, Wijnaldum or even Mane as signings? I'm sure he secretly would love to have Sandro, Rodri and Mbappe in those places instead but sometimes you can't get what you want. We also at the point of Conte's arrival owned the player that's turned out to be the best player for Scouseville under Klopp.

Unless you are at Man.City you won't get your number one targets more often than you do, it's then up to the manager to earn the kings ransom a week wages to get the best out of the hand he's dealt. Yes Conte didn't get the best hand (some cards he picked himself) but he had more than enough resources to prevent a catastrophic run of 3 wins in 11 games which culminated in our second worst half season in the modern era.

Klopp got every single player he wanted, he spent huge money and built a team according to his own wishes. Same as Pep. So yes this is a fair comparison, Klopp won nothing and still the club was trying to improve to him and kept doing it, Conte won the league and our board didn't care to listen to him, had Conte won the league for Liverpool you can bet all you got that they would have given him everything he wanted!

Conte at the start got Morata, huge potential turned huge flop. But in January Conte wanted Rudiger and Emerson which proved to be crucial for us.
Sarri had a better work environment for no real reason, other than the fact that we knew that we can't get any decent manager if he sack him and specially because we got the news about the transfer ban, had the club signed Sarri at the time when Conte was here, Sarri would have been sacked by January, no doubts about it.

Conte wanted A.Sandro, the board said no and gave him Emerson. Turned out to be a better signing, thankfully we didn't spend triple the money on who Conte wanted.

Conte wanted Bonucci and the board gave him Rudiger, as we were looking at him before the injury the year before. Once again, we ignored Conte's wishes and ended up with a better player.

Probably so but the fact he signed him for Juve shows he had an affection for him.

Lukaku has turned out poor too at a big team, either way i wouldn't trust Conte's judgement to make signings too much.

I have to admit I'm quite looking forward to seeing Inter piss the league this season, then Sarri to come out with something along the lines of "this squad is difficult to motivate" while conveniently forgetting the hundred odd trophies they have between them.

Not good news considering how much he smokes! Hope he recovers quickly from it. 

Conte and, possibly more so, Sarri had negative tones. They often put blame on some players.

They instilled a negative tone which spread to the fans.

Sarri often had arguments or little fall outs. Im just waiting for him to fall out with a big player like De Ligt or Ronaldo

So...Lampard set a positive tone, supporting his players and believing in all, especially youth.

On the other hand, he didnt have enough support from the fans or media

Conte has made a great start with 100% record Sarri not bad either just one draw after 6 games so 2 points behind Conte.

I follow Inter and love Conte passion so I am going for inter to shade this,  they are at home, arguable Juve is still the storngest team in serie A,

I’d back Conte if I had to pick one. He seemed to enamour himself more to the fans.
