For what? Are you surprised that the fans were happy with his arrival? It seems to me that you are too. Maybe in six months you will do my same speech. He is a great player, one of the best strikers in the world. He has the goal record in Serie A. But for us it was a weight, economic and technical, he did not run for 6 months, he did not want to. He arrived as the driver, the second highest paid in the league and after 2 months he gave up. It is better to sell those who do not want to stay. Maybe you should have seen some other Milan game in these 6 months and some less YouTube videos. But maybe Sarri has a magic wand. I just told that we are not sad about it, is the truth.

Happier now I’ve seen it’s a 6 month loan.

Morata was stinking up the place with his attitude and performances so we needed to do something.

I’m skeptical Higuain has it in him to make an instant impact but am hopeful he will.

If nothing else the signing should draw a close to the false 9 experiment which is a massive plus for me.

Fingers crossed he can break the curse of our number 9 shirt.

Happy he's sign hope he does well really do but I will come back to this comment in 5 matches time why, because people will be wanting him gone by 5 matches

Anyone know if we got the official paperwork done ahead of the deadline today so he can play tomorrow?  I doubt it, and it even sounded as if Sarri didn't know in his presser this morning, but thought I'd ask.  You know, just in case we tried to be sneaky in making a late announcement, but already had it done and dusted ahead of time

For those who have actually been following Milan the last couple of years, you must have realized that they have been really sh*tty in terms of hiring (both players and coaches) and playing. From the very first minute i found out he was signing for Milan i knew he was gonna regret that decision.

I hope he does really well in Chelsea, and i'm confident that he will, specially because of Sarri, a man who always managed to squeeze out the best of pipita during his stay in Napoli. That being said, it's not a secret that his level decreased a lot the past year, he has to do a lot better in every way, specially in the mental part.

Looks pretty happy and seems in good shape in the picture on the Chelsea website , i wonder if hes gonna play with Hazard along him on Sunday. 

 

From what ive seen on the internet its a loan til the end of the season , 18 million euros for a loan next season or option to buy at 36 million euros .

Considering he has played less games than Aguero in the top leagues suggests he has a better scoring rate.

Of course the proof is in what he does for us yet interesting to see his record is so close to Aguero's.

Sarri told Corriere dello Sport in September 2018. “He is goals. He is a goal animal, an infernal machine.”

The love is real. No excuses now for Sarri. If results don't improve they'll both be out the door.

Big welcome to him. My hope is that he can have a similar impact to the one Eto'o had a few years back at a similar age. 

Allows us to remove the Millstone of Morata from around our necks and plan for a long term striker too.

Though these sorts of deals don't usually work out, I think this one will.

He and Sarri clearly get on, and you don't move to England for a crack at the Premier League unless you like a challenge. Higuain didn't have to come here. He could've quite easily coasted at Milan and continued to pick up his wages. I quite like that. Plus, there's no doubting his pedigree.

Fitness with him is a bit of a concern (he's not particularly athletic) but Sarri and the coaching staff will be on that straight away.

I think the main question here is how well the team plays. He's more likely to struggle if the rest of the team carry on playing as they have been recently i.e. slow build-up, inconsistent pressing etc. but this signing may give them a boost (they couldn't have particularly enjoyed the 'false 9' system) and when Hazard goes back to his best position, it could all click.

P.S. Nice work from the board. If he does well, £15m for another loan next season or £31m to buy (although I can't see us doing that given his age) doesn't seem too bad to me.

I'm sorry, but I have very, very low expectations for how this is going to work. Come June, if he's banged the goals in or worked very well with Hazard to assist his scoring too, then fantastic. 

I just don't have any faith in Sarri after our latest string of results. He looks clueless. I'm not usually a doom-monger, but here we are. Perhaps his previous relationship with Higuain will be enough to get the best out of him, but we'll see.
