Now Mount doesn’t want to leave. 😂

Is it that he doesn't want to leave because he's suddenly rediscovered his Chelsea love or he wants to run contract down to go for a free.

Whatever, we don't need his drama. Would rather he left

This is all a game and people should not fall for this. United know Caicedo is our main target so they throw his name out to speed things up. On the other hand Chelsea know Bayern have the money and they are going to be active in the market this summer and given Mount's relationship with Tuchel and him being one of his favourites during the UCL winning campaing, we throw their name out in the hope United raise their offer.

For all I know, at least this confirms we indeed have Caicedo as our 1st option and we'll move for him once Mount (and Havertz) is gone. Which will eventually happen IMHO. They are probably only a few millions appart although, for me, the 55+5M offer is a fair one and would take it in the blink of an eye. Take your Chelsea tinted glasses out and Mount is, IMHO, a fairly average player in the last year of contract who, let's be honest, is not worth 65M in any part of the world. Maybe in Saudi Arabia, I agree, but apart from that, were reall football is played, I'm afraid he is a 40M at best.

I don’t agree that he is an average player, he’s been twice player of the season, champions league winner, and one of our best players two seasons ago. He’s been overplayed and he was bound to have a dip in form, but for me he’s been a key player in a Champions League winners team. For the prices that more average players go, I think £60m+ for him with one year left of contract is fair.

Im hoping he stays, just to narc off the morons who are abusing him or don't want him at the club... The guy is a winner. Aint going to win the league title at united, only at city and they don't want him. I'd love him to stay, have a change of heart, see what the new manager will bring... Reckon he'll start enjoying his football now that Havertz isn't in the side. sign the contract with CFC mason!

Nothing to do with Mount ?

Utd won't pay what we want.

Unless things have changed since last night, which it probably has ...

Only a gnats fanny hair between him and Hendrix for who`s the greatest guitarist of all time.

I still watch Hendrix videos .. live at Monterey is superb. And The drummer was almost as good as Moon !

Makes a nice change from football stuff !

He hasn’t been overplayed. We have discussed this “idea” before, Saka who is a few years younger has racked up way more mins without a dip in his output.

Since what timeframe?

Mount has had very little rest since 2019.

All I want is a player that wants to play for the club. If he wants to play for Chelsea, then sign a new contract. Everything coming out of his camp though is that he has no intention of doing that. So if he stays, then I feel like it will be to run his contract down and leave for free.

And in the 6 months he has to decide between now and January when he could talk to clubs - he could be playing 90 mins every week scoring goals and become pivotal to our league progression and change his mind. If Not we get him for the contract he signed with us, what is Judas about the club and player sticking to what is already there? Players are allowed to run down deals as a way of negotiations too... Would be delighted if he stays. Wouldn't have to risk signing a 60 million dud. We know he's class, champions league winner already... sign him up

Mount

19/20 - 4024’

20/21 - 5078’

21/22 -4421’

22/23 - 2633’

Saka

19/20 - 2989’

20/21 - 4114’

21/22 - 3781’

22/23 - 4321

Not sure where you get the feeling that Saka has played more minutes than Mount. Mount in his first two seasons, which we were playing every single cup and getting to finals unlike Arsenal, played over 9000 mins. Taking into account that he had no rest for two seasons due to covid and European cup postponement, it is a bigger toll that he has paid than Saka.

Where can I read the stuff coming directly from his camp ?

Oh god don't start on that one.

Will it be London Calling or Train in Vain.

Will he have The Right Profile to find a Safe European Home or will he Deny us to keep his Career Opportunities open.

Did Pochettino/his team say that directly?

Haha, you got me there mate !😂😂

I believe it was from a source " close to the club' " 😆😆😆 f**king hell , after rubbishing every one else I go and mug myself off ! f**k knows why this has gone on bold .

cheers mate you fecker !

It is interesting to see how this thing pans out. Personally I never thought Mount would leave. I thought this is his club. This might still be the case.

What has changed from before is Boehly is not handing out contracts like they did with James for example. That might have changed things for Mount. He probably thought he will get a contract like James'.

If Mount decides to leave and to MU it will be somewhat awkward. I would hate to see him in that shirt of entitlement...on the other hand we would get a massive transfer fee that helps us fix the squad. That could also open a window for, lets say, Gallagher to shine. That would be great too.

If we can fix the squad with that money and the players we buy are Pochettino buys we might be better off without Mason.

I think if he's not sold by the end of the window, he will sign an extension before January. He could not afford a season to be on the bench or in the stand, those big contract offers won't be there next summer if he doesn't  play, and he will have no chance to make it to the Euros.

So. We are selling players.  To Saudi Arabia mainly. Do they want to buy Mason Mount? I would hate to see Mount go to Manchester. I really would HATE that. Tuchel and Munich are now interested apparently. IF he has to go – wants to go – we should NOT let him go to a rival English club. imho. I do not know the INs and OUTs of what is happening hwith his contract and what the club HAS and HAS NOT offered him.

I do know it is about money. He is entitled to get the most money he can. The club is also entitled not to be held to ransom. It is a tricky situation. We don’t really know the details. I hope he stays.
