August 8, 20223 yr Several talk like it is a given this is his last season here. I don't think it is a given, he really takes care of himself and is the most dedicated professional to his craft we have had since Zola. He also loves it here, and I think while he feels able to contribute and is enjoying himself he will keep on playing till he is ready to enjoy his final seasons back in Brazil. We would be stupid to let him go until he wants to go back home. He should be one off Todd's first calls in September when the new deals are set to be discussed also with the likes of Kante and Jorginho. If he and his family are not determined to live in Brazil when his career comes to a close we have to find the right role for him within the club, he would remain an invaluable asset.
August 27, 20223 yr Just wanted to show some appreciation for Thiago after his performance today. Incredible.

That’s what he turned out to be. Our miracle cure!

August 28, 20223 yr I adored him before he came to the club and I love him even more now. O Monstro. Our best CB since JT.
August 28, 20223 yr There are no words for how good this guy is. KK, Fofana, Chalobah and maybe Colwill need to learn all they can. He is a class act. Easily one of our best ever signings in the modern era, and just makes everyone else around him better.
