They got a very strong team on paper and not really scary teams in the group stage either. As the winners of their group they would go against the runner-up from Portgual/Uruguay/Ghana/South Korea so unless Portugal somehow finishes second, Brazil should be cruising to the quarter-finals.

T.Silva to be the captain of Brazil.

The players I suggested that we go for, Paquetá and Guimarães in the team, alongside the famous Alex Sandro but  @TomCFC85 already knew that.

Antony is going to be there too, their team on paper looks absolutely brutal, the only obstacle from what I have heard is their manager Tite. 

Brazil are making us look like idiots with how they use Silva. He's on the edge of the oppositions box assisting players and we are so sh*t scared of his age that we play a back 3 with him being the deepest player. 

We need to stop being such a negative team and take advantage of the quality we actually have.

Look at who he has in front of him  Vinicius Junior, Casemir, Neymar..........

I just hope he isn't taking hair tips from Neymar and dyes his hair blond again.

Difference in having good and top quality players all pulling together for the cause verses good, average and subpar players pulling in different directions, hiring pricy mercenaries who don't give a sh*t and offering to be a retirement home for those finished at the top level, like Koulibaly and Sterling.

He has Marquinos as his defensive partner  Cashimero in the Midfield for Brazil, that's not even a comparison to what he has to deal with at Chelsea.

He has been good but he is still part of the problem. If this so called “project” is going    anywhere he would be part of the culling along with Azpi, Koulibaly, Jorginho, Kante & Aubameyang. Experience is overrated in todays game, you need players that will run through walls just look at the youthful Arsenal side.

Experience is overrated if that experience is performing like sh*t. Thiago Silva is our best player game after game. Nobody is hitting the highs he sets every game, the only ones that come close are James and Chilwell when they can actually get on the pitch. If everybody performed at Silva's standard, we would be right up there with Arsenal.

I get the point you're making, but in fairness Silva isn't playing as an accommodation to a great. He's not out there just for  mentoring. He is far and away our best defender. Often he's been our best player. Aerially he is better than anyone we have, which is a sobering thought when looking at the respective heights of teammates. Positionally he is in a different league. Touch, control and passing range. Tick, tick, tick.

He is not our best thirty something player. He's our best player.

You are right this is part of the problem but its a condemnation against his teammates and the Chelsea backroom staff. People on here are Dalling for Levi Colwill. He can't get in ahead of Lewis Dunk, let alone Thiago Silva.

Again last night v Forest, I thought he was our best player. Some of his positioning showed his class and experience.

He's the only one in this team currently running through said wall. Should be the last one to go.

He is not our best thirty something player. He's our best player.

You are right this is part of the problem but its a condemnation against his teammates and the Chelsea backroom staff. People on here are Dalling for Levi Colwill. He can't get in ahead of Lewis Dunk, let alone Thiago Silva. 

TBF Colwill has been fantastic whenever he has played for Brighton, its probably only a matter of time until he's starting.
