September 7, 20223 yr It actually makes a lot of this clear to us all now. There is no underlying plan, there is no scheme that is being implemented bit by bit. It is all just random panic and knee jerk reactions. They are probably reading these forums to gauge the feeligns of the fans on match days and then making business decisions off the back of it. God help us.
September 7, 20223 yr There must be more in this than just bad results. There was rumours in the last few weeks TT was to be offered a new contract. He looked a broken man last night in the press conference maybe the problems in his personal life have taken there toll on him.
September 7, 20223 yr Please not Bielsa. I heard some mumurs online about him as a potential replacement, along with other names. Leeds were conceding for fun.

We go through managers like most people go through socks. Love it or hate it - it is what it is.
September 7, 20223 yr I like to be rational and not emotional at times like these. I love TUCHEL for winning us the chamions league but we have been horrible to watch since we beat Juve 4-0 in the UCL last year. This game is about results and since we got top 4 playing ugly it was cool but now we are playing ugly and losing.
September 7, 20223 yr Sad to see him go but he had clearly lost the dressing room and players were not playing for him anymore. After all the fights between our players in the last few games, I'm not even sure they want to play with each other. We have a massive dressing room problem, not entirely on Tuchel, with players that obviously don't want to be here. So I don't think that sacking him was the wisest of choices. Who comes now? Pochettino? That's got to be suicidal. Having been a Spud, it's more than likely that it will turn into a FSW situation if things don't go very well. I don't think that Potter would leave Brighton at the moment, but I'd like to give him a try. Zidane? I don't think he's interested in coming, to be honest. Who else is there?

September 7, 20223 yr I think Tuchel did a great job in cup competitions, and for that he deserves credit. Winning the Champions League was special and something we can cherish forever because of him. It's a shame we didn't have more success in the domestic cup competitions as we were close in all of them under his leadership. Our league record under him has been consistently average, particularly in the current calendar year. We've been the 6th best performing side since January 1, and gradually our performances have been deteriorating with no sign of a turning point for the better. The style of football wasn't that pleasing to watch in my opinion, though for the first 80 games of his stint we were getting good results. After that, our results have been poor. We've only won 6 of our last 15 in all competitions and lost 7 of our last 21 matches, after having only lost 9 of his first 79 matches in charge. Personally, I was prepared to give him time until the World Cup to allow him to adjust and adapt with the new summer signings. I think that would have been fair and reasonable. A lot of people will be upset at the new owners, but I suspect Roman would have moved on Tuchel at the end of last season if he remained owner. What comes next is a daunting prospect. Pochettino is probably favourite to take over, but there's no standout candidates I can identify at this stage.

Not Bielsa, please! He's not good enough for Chelsea. If these players did not like Tuchel, imagine having a coach that asks them to run their socks off every single minute of every single game.

Liverpool and Man City, the two most successful clubs in this country have given their coaches plenty of time. Edited September 7, 20223 yr by enigma

Conte isn't leaving a squad with Kane/Son and Richarlison to work with Pulisic and Ziyech. Conte would have walked if he had been left with our attacking options this summer. No manager is going to turn this group into an attacking force. Edited September 7, 20223 yr by HazardousChoice
September 7, 20223 yr My request for compassionate leave has been turned down so I will be handing in my notice this afternoon
September 7, 20223 yr How many games has Boehly been at in person so far ? 10 ? 12 ? 15 ? I think he's probably only seen one decent performance, let alone result ... I'm sure that's the ember that has been smouldering ?
September 7, 20223 yr Can't Really Say I'm That Shocked, It's Basically Been On The Cards For A While Yeah I've No Idea Who They'll Now Bring In But Hopefully Onwards And Upwards
