TT needs to earn his wages at HT. He got this lineup all wrong and he should try to fix it. If he doesn't make the necessary changes I can only see them scoring more.

So many players missing out there. The amount of misplaced passes and lack of urgency is really getting boring to watch. Don't back us to come back from a deficit as the mentality isn't there right now. Southampton have really not had to do much to be in front..

I can't believe how fragile this team is, particularly defensively. This guy didn't concede a fking goal for the first 50 games. This team is chalk and cheese from the team that TT first had.

We have been really poor. I don't have any faith in us getting any points from this. Sad to say but Azpi doesn't belong to this league any more.

The first goal is just whatever it happens but the second one could have been avoided in multiple ways, we played better with reserves in a back 4 last season than how we're playing right now.

That's what happens when you don't take your chances. Should've scored atleast 3 goals with the chances we created but sadly our forward play is pathetic infront of goal. We let them back and now we're easily getting ripped apart in transition.

Really need to address the top end of the pitch in the next 48 hours or it’s gonna be a long season.

A back 4 doesn't work when it's Azipicueta instead of James. Also Silva isn't really mobile enough for a back 4. And when they are next to each other, it's panic stations down that side every time.

I'm happy for us to try a back 4, but with James out, this wasn't the time to try it.

I agree ...the pressure will be on with the money Todd has splashed out.  He'll want results, but this is what you get when you make so many changes and bring in players off the bench that you've more or less told to leave.  The team just has too many defensive minded players in the side, and if they weren't naturally defensive minded he's molded them into that way of thinking..

Remember this, Bissouma, Nunes, Phillips, Neves, etc were all available. 

Tuchel didn't consider it a priority.

When are all the people that constantly slag off the posters on this forum for analysing the team negatively going to start seeing the truth? 
 

We have 24 hours, essentially, to sort this massive problem we have in midfield. Mainly the f**king M I D F I E L D.

Everyone knows J is slow on foot. He needs cover from his midfielders like Italy gives him. J has been pretty good today. Every decent attack is through him.

Kai has also been decent. Just no balls in the forward areas after he missed his chance. Zero balls in the attack. 

We have new system and again new players in new positions. Injuries and our ever changing squad does that.

Lets hope for a better second half.

No way, Tommy is a bottle job! So long as he is manager, he will play!

We should let Azpi go on a free to Barca before the window closes.

His legacy is going to take an absolute battering if he stays here another 2 seasons.

The thing is we haven't played anyone yet. TB must be sh*thing himself. He is now north of a quarter of a billion in and we cant even compete with relegation fodder

This is all on Tuchel for me. Players are putting in the effort, but he's got the formation all wrong for the players he has. You cannot play Jorginho as a DM in back 4. You cannot play a back 4 with 3 players who don't have the legs for it (I think Silva is handling it much better than Azpi and Koulibaly though) The attack is mostly fine, but everything going on behind them is a disaster. There is no organisation, it's just 5 players looking absolutely clueless.
