He's slow, his tackling is terrible, he can't contain, he's bad in 1v1's. What did people see in him before we signed him? It's his first start since 1st October ... probably needs a run of games ?
March 4, 20233 yr This is obviously not all on the manager, but on paper he has so much to work with, but we just look absolutely woeful.

March 4, 20233 yr Kovacic looks absolutely done now. Which I think is the main reason our play has deteriorated.
March 4, 20233 yr Starting to slowly unravel now. Misplaced and understand passes, needless fouls and a loss of tempo. Can see us conceding at this rate. We need a spark from somewhere

Rather than look for the under the radar, unknown version of fofana that leicester purchased a year earlier, we instead get all excited about a standout 6 month period (pre injury) and throw silly money to get him. Very risky. Scouts are rubbish. I think we should adopt a new strategy. 1. Identify the latest flavour of the month we want to purchase from leicester or brighton (or the like) 2. unsettle the player by leaking to the press 3. enter negotiations. offer £100m. say we will wait for you to secure a replacement etc 4. once said team knows who they want to sign to replace said player, go all in to gazump them, Willian style. 5. pull out of initial conversation - leaving 1x unhappy player and 1x pissed off rival

That’s the future France CB Pairing we have, he’s a top talent he will come good

March 4, 20233 yr Well, we may have peaked today. Last 15 mins Leeds have looked the more likely side.
March 4, 20233 yr Author That must of been the 4th or 5th cross from Chilwell to Havertz, i cant decide who's fault it is, Chilwell for not finding the perfect cross, or Kai for not finding the right position.

Looks solid enough to me
March 4, 20233 yr Another 45 minutes. Another blank. So fun to watch. Very similar to last few games - good first 10 mins, then just it all disappears.
March 4, 20233 yr Well this has the Southampton game and tragic ending written all over it as Brighton and Villa to continue to score - Spurs continue to be frustrated in the first half and the champions elect are losing at home to Bournemouth.

March 4, 20233 yr Well, there is improvement at least. We played decent for 35 minutes instead of 15........

Chilwell has been quality, what has Havertz done apart from trying to score a fancy goal and f**king it up?
