Zouma - If Kurt's Happy, I'm Happy!

Featured Replies

I hope we'll be spared the standard 'thumbs up' photo and the cliché about coming back stronger. So horribly Arsenal.

Just get well soon, Kurt!

Everyone does that, just that Arsenal players get injured the most so they do it the most lol

Good news about his progress, thought we really missed his speed and agility lately ( even we won 3 in a row). It will be a long rehab, but I got the feeling it will make him a more mature and technical defender down the track.

The sooner he's back the better. Struggling to even watch games while we have Cahill and Ivan in defence. Zouma by far the better choice. Guess it'll be a dream to see Christensen and Zouma pair up, but knowing managers they all seem to prefer experience over raw talent

^ Goodness yes! Cahill has had his amazing mome ts, al in all I think he has been a very astute buy by tbe club, but either he's past it or he's never quite had it. He's not part of our immediate future either way.

He got a injured at a ideal (not that there's an ideal time) time so he will hopefully return for beginning of season. We gonna need him back, just hope he learns to calm down a little when going in for tackles and headers.

i'd say he would be fully fit and ready to play around mid September

Should be much earlier now mate, it was said he would be out for 6 months, he is running after less than three. If his recovery goes as fast as this i could see him start our first game of the season.

Let's hope for he best

"The report also adds that Sabatini has already begun negotiations with Chelsea since April regarding the transfer of French defender Kurt Zouma. The young defender was one of Chelsea’s best players during the first half of the season before picking up a major injury.

Sabatini hopes to sign the young Chelsea defender for a bargain because of his injury. He hopes that Chelsea will get rid of him after worries regarding his long term recovery."

Can it get dumber than this?. In for a long summmer...

That may be the stupidest 'rumor'Ive ever heard

Any new updates on his condition?

His recovery from his injury is going very well. Unfortunately he read that moronic rumour about us selling him to Arsenal and he will miss at least 6 months due to a terrible case of split side.

He's back training in some capacity going by a pic on Terry's Instagram, I need those high-speed slide tackle back in my life.

He's so young he'll naturally heal quicker, hopefully he's back early in the season, but I wouldn't want to rush him either, he's, in my opinion, the best young player on our books, so we need to be careful with him and not rush his recovery, the ACL is a bar steward of an injury, used to be a career ending one too
