November 6, 20178 yr People know sh*t when it comes to Emenalo. We have no idea how things will go on....

November 6, 20178 yr For me this is more a sign of disrupt inside the club than a sigh of relief. Please tell me a person who has 10 years of experience and Emenalo's track record. He was also a person Roman trusted. Not saying he was perfect in his job (i actually don't eveb know all his responsibilities) but he is an experienced person who brought us Eden for example.
November 6, 20178 yr I agree with a lot of sentiments on here. What did he do ? what was his role and did he contribute to the clubs most successful decade ? He must have done something of use to stay for a decade. Whatever, I wish him well and thank him for his contribution.
November 6, 20178 yr Don't know what he did or didn't do during his time, but for me will always be remembered for signing Djilobodji and Baba around the same time Alex Sandro signed for Juventus and van Dijk signed for Southampton.
November 6, 20178 yr Happy for the man, Not for Chelsea. He was vilified and scape-goated too often at the slightest thing like a missing shoe or burnt dinner. Sometimes it was plain embarrassing. Roman camp, friend or ally, you don't get 10 years at a big club progressing to such levels without delivering certain objectives and as has been highlighted by several people through an immensely successful period. The unhappiness for Chelsea stems from the fact that all is not well within. Apart from his exit, there's something more to come......Hard to know what but not good news by any stretch.
November 6, 20178 yr Disappointed to see him go. He played a big hand in bringing in some fantastic talents to the club, especially between 2012 and 2014, when we were replacing an aging squad. Hopefully he still scouts in some capacity. Personally I'd like to see us replace him with an ex player. I get a feeling this is in response to a few poor windows. Hopefully it's a good change of direction.
November 6, 20178 yr I genuinely have no idea what to make of this. He's been a fixture at the club for a decade....so something has happened, and I'm not in the know. I don't know who will replace him, and whether it will be a good or bad thing. I don't know how Conte fits into this. All I do know is Emmanalo was always appreciated by Roman.
November 6, 20178 yr Don't know what he did or didn't do during his time, but for me will always be remembered for signing Djilobodji and Baba around the same time Alex Sandro signed for Juventus and van Dijk signed for Southampton. It's almost as if he's not psychic... [emoji849]Yes they were bad buys but Mourinho should take the blame for De Bryune going and Lukaku never getting a chance.
November 6, 20178 yr We should've done this a long time ago. He brought some very good talents, that's true, but the opportunities we've missed for the same amount of time, especially last 3 summers made me think that his intention was sabotaging the managers. And this news shows us that for the first time Roman prefered Conte rather than one of his men. There was a war between these 2 and Antonio won it. No need to cry. Only to celebrate.
November 6, 20178 yr My question is why now? We are not involved in a current transfer window, and it's been a while since August. My judgement is reserved now but it's never normally brilliant to loose anyone in the middle of a season.
November 6, 20178 yr Good luck and all the best In your future endeavors. Brilliant work in bringing talents to the club. It's a shame about De Bruyne and Lukaku. Here's to hoping for a good appointment for the Technical Director position.
November 6, 20178 yr Don't know what he did at the club, could have served the tea for all we know. So I don't care that he's gone. The poor bar steward who replaces him will receive as much abuse as he did on here for the same reason; no one knows what he does and when we have a sh*t transfer window we just blame him 'cause football.
November 6, 20178 yr saw this on another chelsea forum from a poster: "Interesting news. Personally, I’m not a critic of Emenalo. Likewise, I find it hard to praise him for what is the easiest job in football. Let’s be honest here, the guy has probably taken a lot of unfair stick, but I would say unjust praise too. With a considerable budget in hand, it’s not difficult to spot talented players who fit the blueprint of what the club are looking for. Anyone who watches football on a regular basis can spot these players when working to a specific club strategy. I could list numerous players I have flagged on here before they broke through, so whilst it’s in interesting in the potential power play in club hierarchy. His achievements both good and bad would be overrated in both aspects."

He has had a tremendous impact on the club over the past 10 years and this is evident in everything we have achieved. We are sorry to see him go but understand his desire to move on and explore new challenges.’ Lets not act like he got axed here
November 6, 20178 yr 3 minutes ago, Zola said: Who are we going to blame now for everything? marina it seems. even though she's the negotiator, i find the dislike of her weird too. she just oversaw the nike deal and the great business we've done of buying, and most notably selling players for great profit. people don't seem to realise that everything goes through roman, so the reason she isn't negotiating big money deals all the time is because roman isn't spending those huge amounts any more.
November 6, 20178 yr I think the money she has fleeced from other clubs is amazing, and shes done a great job it would appear.
November 6, 20178 yr Why are my club always in the news? I'm sure Chelsea get more coverage than any other club when it comes to anything controversional Wouldn't change it for the world.
November 6, 20178 yr Telegraph are saying it’s because he doesn’t like the politics at the club and doesn’t want to get involved in a 3 way power struggle between Conte and Maria. Apparently they don’t see eye to eye and there is a clash of personalities. From the little we know, it seems like he did a good job. Certainly identified and convinced some good young players to join the club.
November 6, 20178 yr If anyone knew anything about anything going on in the club we wouldn't be so surprised at him leaving. They are literally scrambling to write stories and I wouldn't believe a word they write as they try to pretend they knew all along.
November 6, 20178 yr Emanelo leaves and on the same day Pirlo announces his retirement from playing...coincidence? Edited November 6, 20178 yr by doctorblue
