Antonio Rudiger

Looked like a whack to the bollocks.

That's what I was hoping, but got a bit nervous it could have been a groin pull. He seemed to be moving awkwardly a few minutes later (although a knock in the balls will do that too to be fair).

Pulled out of the Germany squad with injury. Nothing serious apparently.

Good time to get a break now.

With Joachim Low's antics in the last World Cup he probably didn't want to say he had tender balls in case Low had a feel and a sniff

This guy, second best centre back in the league after Van Dijk for me.

As good as van dyke is, the loving media overrate him so so much. Every good call they big him up, every bad call they are mute. Our Panzer though is class.......fast, agile, strong and can actualæly defend. Quality buy that.

That challenge on Walker! What a beast Rudiger is, what I like about him most is the way he doesn't care about the opponents and the player who he stands against. He fights for his team and tries to do his best to win games.

Until now, he is our player of the season, to be honest.

I actually laughed out loud when that happened.  Walker trying to be tough - he wound up and threw his whole body, and Rüdiger hardly flinched.  Most would struggle to stay on their feet.

Rudi is quality.....can game through the back 4 and deliver. You can easily see it on him that he loves playing for Chels nand his stock has gone up since coming here. One of the best defenders in epl but hardly get any credit at all......they w**k over van dyke laporte stones etc so often.

A good quality no nonsense defender who isn’t afraid to mix it up, rarely goes for the on field love in that many like to have with opponent. Once you get crunched by a Rudi tactle your not likely to get a hand up and a hug, I like that.

Hes very quick and deceptively strong. Fast becoming one of my favourite Chelsea players and imho the best in the league in his position.

I hope he stays for a long time at the club. Not many mistakes in his game, strong, fast and also delivers some crucial passes through the middle. Love is passion and his unique body language.

I think he has been really good this season.. can improve on his positioning especially when we play a high line nowadays.. but will only improve. His best is yet to come..
