There's a reason why Man U, Dippers & Gooners want him, but some on here, fans of the club allegedly have cast him as a talentless money grabber after a mega pay day, I'm certain Mason will have the last laugh and wherever he goes this summer he will add value to the squad and help win trophies.

When most of the other academy boys are flogged off like the family silver and have been replaced by Todd Bully's overpriced and under performing newly signed prospects Clearlake may as well close down the CFC Academy altogether and save a few mill a year because what use is it any longer ?

• ManUtd are in the process of mocking up a formal approach re Mason Mount.
• Man Utd have agreed personal terms with Mason Mount.
• ManUtd have made a lucrative offer to Mason Mount and have reiterated their desire for him to stay at Chelsea.
• Pochettino is in the process of talking to Mason Mount in an effort to keep him at SB.

If Man Utd have agreed personal terms with Mason Mount whilst he still has a year left on his contract, then doesn't this indicate a clear illegal approach to a player.

The only way I can think that this has occurred is if the club have given Man Utd permission to talk to Mount, which surely means all of the other rhetoric in the press is absolute bollox. We are clearly inviting an offer from Man Utd if they are already talking to Mount.

Decision to sell him was probably back in April when he refused the final contract offer.

If Mount is not for signing and obviously we don’t want to loose him on a free next year the proper thing to do is let other cubs talk to him. 
In the meantime Pochettino will have an opportunity to try and persuade him to stay.

Whatever he decides, and I hope he stays, will not really matter in the long run, there are more important things in life than if a 24 year old millionaire is happier here or at Man U. I’ll will not abuse him but I’ll not wish him any success in the further and hope he and whichever team he goes to fail miserably, which I do for all opposition.
