I'm not the manager/coach or anything at the club. The manager picks the players, sets out the game plan and ultimately the buck stops with him. 

I've seen better defending from championship outifts than what I watched today. Are you saying we don't have young defenders at the club who would do worse than Christensen and Ridiger? 

This isn't just a one off its been since pre seasons in August with our vulnerability at the back and it's not been addressed at all almost a year later. That's unacceptable at any level. 

Something needs to change and that will be up to Roman if he has another spare 300 million because Frank and his coaching staff can't mould what we have to be competent in defending.

At least we can save time arguing over who played badly! Diabolical all over the park. Bar the late subs there isn't a player who remotely played anywhere near average . Maybe only Kepa absolved of blame as he was totally abandoned by our defence throughout.  Three big games coming up, our confidence is f**ked and Lampard really seems out of ideas to get a performance out of a collection of below par players.  If it wasn't Frank I'm sure there would be more question marks over his future.

People need to chill with the Lampard criticism, it's his 2nd season as a professional manager & his first in the PL and he has exceeded expectations. 

He is a young smart manager and I am sure he will learn from this.

Lets be honest, if it wasn't for the fact it was Lampard, he'd be fired by now. Tactically clueless.

That's on him and his coaching staff. If they can't make a decent defence out of what we have in our ranks at all levels then serious questions need to be asked about his ability to manage us.

He hasn't learnt sh*t since his Derby days. Same useless tactics, same crappy style of defending.

Didn't we all just know as soon as we were told that McGoldrick had not scored a PL goal that it was an absolute certainty that he would break his duck today.
