On a positive note, another clean sheet, almost went another game without a catastrophic defensive error, Lamps still technically undefeated against Jose in 90 minutes if I'm not missing something.

Bit disappointing but fine. Some of us underestimated Tottenham. They’re legit title contenders. Front 3 let us down somewhat today. Midfield and defence were fine bar that shocker from Zouma at the end. Via process of elimination rather than anyone shooting the lights out, MOTM for me a tossup between Kova (worked really hard) and Mendy. I think Lamps made the right decisions/subs albeit perhaps a tad too late as many have argued.

I thought they'd have caused us more problems. Overall we controlled much of that game but didn't have the killer finish.

With 8 minutes to go Mendy takes a short free-kick and we have five other passes in our own half where there are only 3 Chelsea players. Has Zouma been told he can only pass to Silva. He even nearly messed that up when he had 3 easier options open to him.

You're completely underrating Spurs as a side and not giving the team credit for the way we played. We should've won for sure, and Lampard made his subs about 15 minutes too late. But Spurs will know they were very lucky to get a point here. 

We could and should have won that. Dominated the second half and Mount came closest with a good effort.

But opportunity missed. We kept Kane and Son quiet but Frank should have made the changes earlier to try and win all 3 points.

Game fizzled out in the end although Zouma gave me a heart flutter in injury time - just to remind us all that he still has that mistake in his game!!

Frustrating. Showed Kane & Son too much respect for me but the result is decent at least.

Could and should have won really with that Giroud chance at the end. Really need to finish those.

On the plus side another very solid display from Mendy and the defence. Zouma and Kovacic our best players i'd say.

That Spurs team was there for the beating. 

Maybe you should watch the game again.. we had enough chances to win. We dominated them for the majority of the game.. that spurs team is top of the league had probably the most inform strike force in the league and we barely gave them a sniff...

Wait you thought we played badly? They are there for the beating, top of the league unbeaten in 9 games and just beat city last week.

 

I wonder what some people are watching at times. 

I dont really get the negative comments here, we created chances just didnt put them away. Spurs did nothing in the 2nd half. Its not like we were sitting low waiting for them like against ManU. The front three had a bad game, Obviously Giroud could have come on earlier but other then that i dont have any complaints for Lampard. Spurs are well drilled, it was always going to be a tough game.

4 shots on target in a fiery London derby. That's entertainment right there, that is.

Decent enough performance but not enough quality in front of goal. 

Tammy should at least test the keeper with one of those crosses. A Drogba or Costa in their prime eats those chances up. 

I'll be happy to have Havertz back in the team soon, I think we need that goal threat from open play outside the front three. 

Another clean sheet though. Defence continues to be very impressive. 

Tammy is the most clumsiest footballer I've ever seen, always seems to be falling over his feet when he is about to receive the ball.

No questioning his heart though, always gives 100%, with experience he should improve.

Bloody hell, plenty of negativity on here against a regimented Spurs team. Yes we should have done better at times, and I would have started Oli over Tammy.

Imagine Lo Celso scoring from that chance in the last minute... We aren't good enough yet, I take this draw and I'm happy we didn't lose.

Wish I’d gone to work instead of watching that tripe. 

Spuds were set up well with a typical Jose defensive performance, this cancelled us out 

Our only real chances fell to the tallest man in the team but is woeful in the air

Zouma and Thiago Silva are a good partnership, despite Kurt trying to give Spuds a chance in the last minute

Frank was a little tardy with his substitutes, Giroud possibly should have been on earlier

People are underestimating Spuds too much. The arrogance is misplaced

How did we show Kane and Son too much respect ? They are the best duo in the premier league and they didnt create anything all game. We played them really well i thought.

Stop being a melt. There were chances but certain individuals failed to capitalise. Spurs were set up well and will be taking points off the top six this season. Did you not see them beat city the other week? Draw isn't a bad result and we were the better team on the day, lots of positives to take from it.
