Chelsea v Burnley (PL) Sun 31st Jan 2021 12:00 GMT

Featured Replies

Our players looked to have the composure of suburban foxes when shooting at the Burnley goal mouth, they were acting like a group of lads seeing a vagina for the first time. They just didn't seem to know what to do with it until Captain Azpilicueta stepped in and rammed one home.

A little more urgency and composure in equal measure should see us through.

I'm new here btw, nice to meet you all.

I also think at least against this opposition that Jorginho and Kovacic have been excellent in attack. Moved the ball forward and fast. Kova is a bit soft in the tackle.

Why does Werner have to be so sh*t?

All he offers are his bursting runs every now and then and hardly anything comes from them. When was the last time he even scored in the PL?

been better than tammy at least lol

Tammy at least scores when he gets a chance, he's just rubbish outside of that.

First week of November.

At this point I am convinced he won't make it here.

We deserve to be in front, we created quite a few chances and rubbish finishing let us down mostly.

Burnley started positively but come about the half hour mark they dropped about another 10 yards deeper.

Be interesting to see if they come at us a bit more again in the 2nd half.

Good first half , Abraham has been quiet , Werner been poor and Alonso looks rusty. Everyone else looks sharp, Kovacic and Cho probably the two best performers so far.

Is it just me or does it look like Rudiger is running on his toes when he goes towards the touchline like one of those cartoon when they’re up to something?

Last PL goal he scored was against Sheffield United (4-1) on November 7.

I don't see Werner as a a LF in this Tuchel team. I'm hoping we get to see him play CF. Giroud was pretty ineffective as it seems Tammy is as well. I think Kai or Timo suit this style better in a false 9 dragging the cbs forward or vacating the space to allow midfield runners and overlapping wingers for the pull back.

Seriously how bad a footballer is Werner, it's looking really worrying for him. Can't even pass a ball.

He’s a mental case.
