November 12, 20223 yr We Have Way Too Many Average Players Who Offer Piss All, As I've Said Before This Is Going To Be A Massive Rebuild We've Lived Off Having Prime Kante Carry Our Midfield For Too Long, We've Not Upgraded Midfield For Years, We've Chopped And Changed Defense And Attack To No Effect While Negating The Midfield
November 12, 20223 yr I expected nothing else. Every chance every mistake are always the same. Potter should get time but he needs to show progress.

November 12, 20223 yr I’m really looking forward to being at Stamford Bridge for the next match their. The Women are playing Spuds next Sunday.

Right now we lose against any team that is considered to be fighting for the top 4 and Newcastle is one of them. Guimarães is better than all of our midfielders put together, Almiron compared to our attackers looks like Messi. The pairing has as much strength as Michael Barrymore's tadger at an all girls school. They may as well open the door and say 'after you sir' to the opponents midfield.
November 12, 20223 yr As I said last week, I can take Chelsea losing when we put in a shift and impose ourselves on the game, as we did against City in the week. But the performances today and against Arsenal are entirely unacceptable to me. Why did we set up so differently today, despite creating plenty of chances and not playing that badly against city in the week? Today was passive again, gutless, and weak. Our last shot and I think only on target was in the 62nd minute before Newcastle scored. Once they went 1-0 up we did absolutely NOTHING to try and get back into the game, and the subs were once again reactionary. Our last 5 league performances have genuinely been relegation standard. I don’t care what Potter says but that is not good enough for a club or our size. I’m all for “trusting the process” and understanding that there are going to be some setbacks along the way. But we need to be able to see that there’s something worth trusting. I’m willing to give Potter some leeway given the injuries we have, but I think we need to see some form of improvement after the World Cup otherwise he could be in trouble, and stop this mentality of setting us up as a small team. To set up for games and not even try to win the match as was the case today and against Arsenal is absolutely awful for a big team. It’s a moot point but I don’t think we’re any better having sacked Tuchel. I know some will say the results and performances will have gone this way under him, but they’ve gone this way under Potter in really quick time, so what have we gained? I do like Potter and want him to succeed here, but we need to start seeing an improvement after the World Cup and beyond. Fans would be much more patient with a long term project if we could see glimpses of what is we are trying to work towards.

November 12, 20223 yr Potter can keep his job this season as long as we don't get ourselves into a relegation battle.
November 12, 20223 yr 28 minutes ago, Scott Harris said: It can be both, and in some cases it is, but when we are playing like a f**king relegation team, then the coaching is even more woeful. What the f**k is Potter doing on the sidelines? How doesn't he react angrily at the players when he constantly watches them play the ball back to Mendy. Clapping like a f**king moron when we attempt some sh*tty long ball forward that is cut out by the defender and then coming out after the game saying we tried our hardest. f**k off. His tactics are sh*te and the team he left is no worse without him. No fella. You f**k off. What should he do that gets your vote? Rage at the officials like Klopp? Raise a disapproving eyebrow like Ancelotti? Smoke a fag like Sarri? Seeing how consistently pissed off and vociferous you were with your criticism of our mentally weak players, you would probably like him to throw the players under the bus like Tuchel did following our 4-0 pre-season hammering by Arsenal because that really worked didn't it? "I cannot guarantee we will be ready for the season" Why not Thomas? You're the f**kin manager mate. Tell us what you expect Scott. Stick with it. And don't keep f**kin flip flopping.
November 12, 20223 yr This month free of watching Chelsea FC will do us all a load of good. So unhealthy being emotionally attached to this dislikable group.

November 12, 20223 yr I have had a Chelsea season ticket since 1976. My wife persuaded me (in wealthier times!) to get one at Brighton. If there was a clash, I was always at SB. Houghton was good until they got promoted. In the PL, it was defensive crap before he was sacked. Potter came in and insisted on playing it out from the back whatever the risks. Mostly it worked, often it didn't. It was two years of turgid football until the football improved in his third season and they had a good start this season with him. Do we really want to wait two years for things to improve? Not me!
November 12, 20223 yr another spineless performance we are so lightweight. Nevermind only 6 hours to get home. Hopefully the international brake will let us come back with a full strength side because at the moment we will struggle to finish in the top half.

If the internet had been around in the late 70s early 80s it would have crashed every week!! With people moaning at team selection, performance. Sack John Neal! Imagine if we’d done that!! Man of the match would have been the fans most games!! Remember the message to the players fight like your fans do!!
November 12, 20223 yr Completely different job to managing Brighton. Have just looked at his achievements at Brighton. For 3 seasons they were always one of lowest scorers. Last season won 3 of last of last 5 which shot them up table otherwise would have again been in bottom 6. Apart from been a yes man and 4th in table after just 7 games still dont see why we were attracted to someone at this level. Let alone bringing all his coaches who had never coached top class players.
November 12, 20223 yr Potter completely out of his league managing a big club. No CV to undertake such a role. Massive mistake sacking Tommy T and replacing him with this rookie. It will end in tears, probably sooner than we might think.
November 12, 20223 yr The re-start won’t make any difference, even with Reece back Kepa was the only thing between us and a crisis, even with him on the pitch. If anything, players just come back injured and tired and the ones who didn’t go spent too much time on the beach in Dubai or wherever partying.
November 12, 20223 yr Potter just go please the players dont want to play for you your boring your tactics are crap Aubameyang looks great sitting in the stand and the world cup break will allow you to see the players play in positions they enjoy and perform well in while you walk around an empty Cobham trying to work out where the players are that you are going to mould into a team during the WC break

I haven't flip flopped and I never told you to f**k off. Yes, I think the players are mentally weak, but in the sense of competing for league titles and bottling cup finals, not so mentally weak that they look like a team playing like relegation candidates. And you know what? I do expect to see more from Potter on the sidelines. Standing there in silence with his arms crossed, head down, only showing some emotion when Mendy plays a long ball forward doesn't exactly instill confidence that he knows how to get a team competing with the top 6. How does he look at us having a freekick over the half way line, see us play it all of the way back to Mendy and not show any kind of emotion? Okay, it's understandable if it happens once, but we did it constantly. He must have been aware that Mendy was touching the ball more than attacking players, how does a manager just stand there let that keep happening? This group needs the coach in their ear to get the best out of them, they need to be instructed throughout, not have him standing there clapping at some sh*tty long ball forward by the goalkeeper.
