This is simple.............don’t let him leave play Willy as No1 and let him see what bench life is like.  We have made him as a keeper and he treats us like s**t!  I could just see what my boss would say if I didn’t turn up to work for 2 days without calling in!

If he does somehow stay I hope he doesn't play another game for the club, what a total w**ker, he done this for his old club when he signed for us I believe, I've just read something on twitter about it. So he has a history of this sort of behaviour.

It's crazy how Hazard is a much better player and doesn't behave or conduct himself in this way at all, I'm so glad he doesn't, because Courtois is overrated as a goalkeeper anyway and this has been a popular opinion on this forum for some time, it's not bitterness. 

 

Why do we need a keeper if we are going to play sarri ball?

Tempting as it is to Malouda him, it wouldn’t do us any favours long term. Let’s just get rid, and go into the season with a positive only atmosphere. Him and Hazard are mates, and we don’t need anything or anyone upsetting Eden.

I hope he gets nutmegged by Messi 3 times next season, and ends up being a massive flop. 

We know how fickle and volatile Madrid fans can be, if they turn onto him then he’ll regret leaving in the first place when we’ve treated him so well.

Given that we are not bound by the transfer window in terms of when we sell Courtois, it would be good if we could mess him about for a couple of weeks and then sit him on the bench for the first home game of the season. 

Give him the 'send off' he deserves, the lanky streak of piss. 

I will say this, Courtois is nowhere near as good as Navas with his feet. I wonder how long before the Madrid fans start waving the white hanky's at Courtois.

Don't tempt fate. Good chance that next summer this would be Hazard. He is puling the game trick with his contract.

Of course it would do us favours, let it be known that if anyone wants to play these games again they'll have to see out their contract. We won't mess around.

Don't get me wrong I hope we can sell him but if we can't then I'll make sure he doesn't play another game here again.

He has to have had a least 2 legs for Messi to nutmeg him during the Barcelona game, think it through.

Just let the guy go at this point.  He's a good keeper, but I've not rated him as highly as some.  He may have a grudge about being kept so long - in turn I still hold a grudge that his demanding to be a our first choice meant we let Cech go.  That's never felt right, imo.

In my years supporting Chelsea and playing in goal myself, I've always had a keen interest in our keepers, from Bonnetti, Borota, Steve Francis, Eddie Ned, Hitchcock, Beasant, de geoy, Carlo, and Cech all have a special place in my childhood, adolescence, adulthood, but this Courtois bloke I've never taken to, and will be the least remembered of all our keepers.

How will you guys remember Courtous' time at Chelsea?

It won't be long until the pressure from RM fans gets under his skin and he'll wish he never left the place where he was loved and a club legend was booted to give him his so desired starting place.

Extremely overrated. Not that he is not good, I'm not saying that, he is just not that good as he sees himself. As we saw him in the beginning too.
