Anyone read A Confederacy of Dunces? I am frequently told it is brilliant.

So after all is said and done, Kante is still the best... I have said so many times that he needs the freedom, needs the space and a man behind him and then you can just watch him taking over the game and this is how Tuchel is playing him and there is no surprise that he's that amazing. This is simply the main reason why we didn't feel the absence of Kovacic as well, Kante is indestructible he's up there taking the ball and running into the opposition box at minute 85', there is no player that does what he does better than him.

To correct a misimpression many, if not all, have had, Kante did not “miss” his close-in chance in the normal fashion, i.e, block by keeper. It was stopped by Valverde sliding in. Otherwise it seemed it would have beaten Courtois.

If we have this version of Kante for the two finals we stand a decent chance. Such a special player at £30m he may be one of the biggest steals in modern football and considering 30 is still a lot or was in the summer of 2016 that's saying something.

Let this man win the UCL, Fa cup and Euros so he wins Ballon d'or and FIFA Men's best player

We as Chelsea fans

We as consumers of a hideous, corrupt product still called football

We as a terrible, conflicted, brilliant race of humans

We are not worthy of this man.

Saves me trying to put it into words. 🍻😀

Kante has been at his imposing best for a couple of weeks now.

A couple of months ago, I was hugely critical. He was getting a lot of possession of the ball but was doing  F all with it. He has turned that around.

His driving forward with the ball, at pace, has been key to the win over Madrid, and he is now doing better with the ball, making better decisions.

top notch again last night.

I did and can't remember anything about it anymore :connie_oldman_cleanglasses:

Watching Kante back at the top of his game is almost, almost as good as reaching the final of the Champions League.

This is what everyone have been waiting for since 2017 and finally he's back to his best. Sarri tried to destroy him, Lampard couldn't quite get him firing either but Tuchel have brought back the player that has a claim to be the best midfielder in the world.

Not sure what you mean by Sarri trying to destroy him, Sarri was always saying that Kante can do a lot of things including in the final third and that's exactly what he has been doing, his involvment in both goals shows it.
