Well one of those players were booed while he was wearing our colours so it wouldn't exactly to be stretch to imagine him getting it when returning.

I think some forget even last season some of ours players got singled out and booed constantly i.e Cucu while he had personal issues at home.

I don’t get why some think Mount is off limits to boo!!

Personally it’s not my thing or my nature to boo but I feel he will probably get booed by multiple fans especially if he carries his form over from the last 18 months.

It's a popularity contest at the end of the day.

Some are outraged at others booing their favourites, but at the same time are quite happy to stick the boot in with players they don't like ...

Hazard, Costa, Jorginho, Cesc, Sarri, Drogba, Sturridge all off the top of my head were all fair game at various points but if you even constructively critisize a favourite you face a firing squad.

No hyperbole at all :laugh2:

Constructively critisizing (too many confusing c, z, and s in this word) on a forum is one thing, booing your own players from the stands (as opposed to booing an image on tv from the comfort of your sofa  ) is another. When did that ever help a player? Now, booing an ex-player, that might spur him on, so totally counterproductive.

Well, I was born probably way before you were, and I can tell you that although football rivalry is normal, abusing and hating a player for going to another club absolutely isn't.

I don't know why everyone says that Mount convinced them that he was Mr Chelsea, and now they feel betrayed.

How and when did he actually do that ?

A poster boy for teenage boys and girls maybe, but teen idols never last long.

Our club is more important than any one player,  we will survive without him

Come on you BLUES !

Who's talking about abusing and hating a player? I never said that. If fans want to boo him though, I won't have an issue with it. It's part and parcel of the game.

dont you just love a soothsayer?

No need for passive aggressive comments, it serves no purpose. We’re on the same team and we are allowed to have differing opinions.

Probably should of been smart enough to keep the same hair colour as whenever he actually recorded the message lol.

I did want him to stay, I think he's a very good player, but these things happen.

It's one of those things we can't do anything about so we move on.

Shame. Wish he'd of stayed in the end and accepted his new role but that's football. We move.

Hopefully Colwill replaces the identity lost.

If you mean the Cobham identity, I don't think it's lost. We have Colwill as you mentioned and Reece is still there

He'd have been better off keeping quiet.

Not only did it sound about authentic as me when I did a voice read out to join a survey site it's been pre recorded.

Blimey, now you're upset because it sounded like a survey you listened too ?

You're just looking for stuff to get annoyed about.

Ironically it's fans like you I'm defending the most here.

You've gone out on a limb to defend and support his every move, least he owed you (and everyone else you gave him unconditional support which was 95% of this fanbase regardless of the narrative people try and spin) was a heartfelt goodbye over that PR piece.

Even Kouli managed better.
