He is only grateful of the academy as it has given him the platform to become the the real ‘money mase’. Anyway, his call, his decision and nobody should be bound to a single employer due to the opportunities they gave them. But I’ll wish him zero luck and his new club zero luck too. He's someone I don't know , my life isn't turned upside down because he's gone to another club, but you seem to want to look for the most ridiculous things ( like the way his message sounded "  to add to the list of wrongdoings.

Anyways difference of opinions doesn't really matter mate, at the end of the day we are all Chelsea.

I have no idea why people need to critizise Mount's message. It's a perfectly normal, run of the mill thank you and goodbye to the people that were part of his Chelsea career in his umpteenth hairdo.

I just had a laugh when I saw it but he came across about as sincere as one of those influencer apologies. I can understand why some or perhaps many were hoping for a bit more from someone who benefitted greatly from this club over the years and who had this flying at the Bridge at the end of last season.

Good glad it’s done, he ain’t the first and won’t be the last to think they are bigger than CFC.

I'm over him, basically we traded him for Nkuku, who's a better goal scorer and exactly what we desperately need. Mount's work rate will be missed, although we haven't see much of that in the last 12-18 months anyway. When he was at his best, he lifted us, but again that best was almost 2 seasons ago in the CL run. He has done what's best for himself, so not going to say f* him, but he won't get an ovation when he comes back as an United player.

Mata leaving was 100 times worse. He was special, Mount...Well he's not of the same class.

He's very much the product of his age. And besides, he thanked everyone at Chelsea who has helped him develop his career, including the fans, who made that banner for him. He didn't ask for one. 

Damned if you do, damned if you don’t for Mount in releasing a statement. 
Obviously it was prerecorded and prepared, don’t think many would just sit down and rattle something off without giving if some thought.

He’s a professional footballer, not an actor so his delivery may not have been the best  but it really is difficult to gauge his sincerity. I assume he will have his worries about leaving the comfort of Chelsea and moving on.

I don’t know if it’s my age but Mount moving on does not bother me. I wish him no harm but neither do I wish him success. He was a good player for us but he’s not top drawer imo and easily replaced.

More important things in life than wondering where these elite footballers are earning there next millions.
