To be fair, before that awful injury he was rapidly becoming one of most important players. He looks a very long way off from that level atm but it's going to take a fair bit of time before he's fully match fit and confident his body is up to it. We have to be honest and say he might not ever get back to where he was.

Got to get some new ideas on. Get Pulisic on the ball as much as you can, give CHO a chance and put him on for Willian, Willian is playing far too conservatively. Kovacic picked him out in a great position and he just held the play up...

It's weird isn't it ... taking a shot on goal is surely the most natural part of the game, going all the way back to when you're a kid having kickabouts in the park with jumpers as goalposts ... and the 8 year old Kovacic is dribbling about and passing neatly backwards when clean through ...
