Huge pinch of salt but there was a rumour doing the rounds a month of so ago that he was doing cocaine a lot behind the scenes. Most likely complete bs but makes you question it.

I mean, when you watch our attackers fluff about 20 chances week in week out you can't blame him

He did good today. Noticed Felix was struggling, probably for various reasons including that tackle in the first half and giving the ball away for the goal. He hooked him off and put Gallagher on which helped us. I think his in game management has been oretty much spot on the last 3 games.

I thought he got his subs right today, but some of the subs against Leeds and Dortmund were weird.

Are we all back on the Potter express now. Gonna be cashing cheques and breaking necks😀

I still haven't got on it. I need to see a lot more before he changes my mind on him. We got a few decent results, so one step at a time. The next step is the performances, I didn't like the Leeds performance and even today I didn't think we were that good. That's the next step, then he needs to have us avoid slipping back into those terrible runs of form his teams go on. We still haven't beaten a side in the top 10 yet.

Indeed - the whole outpouring from a selection of users here for Tuchel is amusing.

If the performances themselves were not justification enough for his sack (which in my opinion they were), then the abrasive behaviour and off the field reasons should be.

I accept that we do not yet (and likely never will) know the full story - but the fact that....

1) TT has sought an injunction to stop the details being released.

2) the court case in germany had to be held behind closed doors due to the nature of the issues

3) newspapers are unwilling or unable to print the details due to legal issues

....all points to there being a significant, potentially reputation damaging event that has occurred.

Simon Jordan alluded to as much months ago, and basically said Boehly had little option but to fire TT.

We are better off without the circus that would have followed had we kept him.

Certainly that story backs up what Simon Jordan alluded to, and it probably also explains why his contract was terminated so quickly earlier this season. I suspect the stress of everything had got to him off the field, and it looks like he really needed a break from the game. I saw that he had spent some at a retreat and hopefully that helped his mental health. I am sure he will be back managing at some point, although hopefully not a rival English club.

A great week for Potter. Not just the wins although those were vital. But I think some of the comments from players confirm that they are fully behind him. Confidence is returning and we are actually scoring a few goals. Hopefully we can build on this. Still plenty for us to play for this season.

Looks like Potter hasn't lost the dressing room as some Journalists had been suggesting about a week ago. When his job was on the line, the players stepped up their game and gave him 3 wins in a week. I think this is the first time in a long time that players didn't down the tools to get a manager sacked. This might be a good cultural shift for the club.

I haven't read anything like that from any credible journo.

Anyway we are so far away from being a top side. I am pretty sure we will lose multiple games this season. We have 12 Prem games plus 2-5 games from CL. If we win 10 I think we have done well.

Great tactical switch to move to a 3 man midfield.. Gallagher had a real impact.

like the fact that he wasn’t too fussed about possession.. in the last 3 games we have had less possession than the opposition..

Still too much rotation for my liking I’m the back line .. let’s settle on that.

tbf rotation today was enforced rather than tactical or rotation. Reece needed some more time off. Injured. Sick. There is always something.

Usually Gallagher as a midfield destroyer rather than a DM or creator appears to be unlocking the best of Conor.

Yeah.. I just want to see a consistent starting 11.

Agreed he was good yesterday

Mount is still a major concern for Potter and he need to sort it out ASAP. Nobody wins if he leaves.

Mate he's not needed. Imo the only thing we need to be thinking about is what the asking price is gonna be in the summer.

Sadly it's out of Potter's hands now. I don't see the board offering him the money he wants and with Felix wanting to stay in London it seems more likely that he'll be sold to fund the Felix transfer.

I normally try to be fairly measured and avoid knee jerk reactions where possible, but after the Spurs game I lost patience, and posted a fair few things on here pretty much stating that I was fed up.

Wasn't actually able to watch any of the last three games as I was on holiday (poor me), but I'm so happy the results have turned around, and (based on highlights and what I've read here) that the performances and demeanours have improved.

Anyway, I'll hold my hands up, I let my emotions rule me. Here's to the rest of the season, let's hope we continue to improve.
